Casa Picapiedra is a stunning contemporary, private home overlooking the Gulf of Papagayo in the private gated community of Hermosa Heights development of Playa Hermosa. This beautifully landscaped hillside community has 24/7 security controlled access with resort pool, basketball court, spa, ATM, restaurant, movie theater, mini-golf and children’s play area. Liberia International Airport is only 20 minutes away on good roads.

The villa has 2 private king suites with beautiful showers, walk-in closets, vaulted ceilings and expansive glass entrances from the poolside patio with panoramic views of the ocean. The two queen bedrooms share a third bathroom. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and quiet, individual air conditioning. Relax in the living, dining and kitchen areas with full ocean views from the open floor plan. The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, hardwood cabinets and stainless steel appliances. Solid almond beams support vaulted ceilings constructed of tongue and groove teak. The Great Room’s huge sliding glass door opens to a covered terrace with a large table that seats 8. There is a barbecue grill and a beautiful infinity edge pool with built in whirlpool and swim-up bar overlooking the Gulf of Papagayo. No smoking and no pets. 3 flat screen TVs Wireless internet- WiFi, lock safe for security, laundry room with washer and dryer. Wonderful stay
The home is exactly as seen in the photos..clean, spacious and comfortable. The property manager was very responsive and always available to answer our questions. There is a common pool, water slide’s and mini golf, that the teens really enjoyed. The activities coordinator, Bryan was very helpful and a pleasure to meet.

Great House, Great Time
My Family and I had a great time in Playa Hermosa. The house was amazing. The Zindis crew Bryan and Milena were very helpful in lining up activities for us and helping with the property. If you are staying with a small child they charge extra money for a pack and play, and high chair. We've rented many larger VRBO properties, and these items are typically included, so for a luxury rental like this, i feel those items should be included at no charge. Other than this though, the property and experience were amazing!

Our first trip to Costa Rica
This property was AWESOME. We had 4 adults and 3 children (twins 5 and a 2 year old). The management team provided valuable assistance on local beaches and restaurants. The view is even better in person.

Muy Bonita!
We had a group of 3 couples for this trip and loved the location: it's about a 10min walk to Playa Hermosa. I will say that the uphill you'll encounter coming back to this property might not be pleasant for all involved, however. They provided beach towels, snorkeling gear, and all the usual accessories and dishes for the kitchen. The AC's worked really well, and the gated community has a movie theater and mini golf! The view is simply amazing from the patio, can't beat it. There are a few negatives that I hope are addressed. The plumbing is a bit funny, some of the showers ended up with standing water while you're using them, one doesn't get warm at all (one of the master bedrooms near the driveway), the kitchen flooded mildly one morning but there's a drain in the floor so no sweat there..? The pool was a little green when we arrived but continued to get more green and cloudy throughout our visit. Maybe this is a certain style of pool maintenance that doesn't require chemicals, but it was less than desirable to get into once it started getting cloudy. The raccoons aren't anything to joke about; they will attack your trash if you leave it outside. It would've been nice to have one of those trash cages that a lot of other properties have. We ended up pulling the trash cans in the house at night to prevent it. All in all, a wonderful trip!!!
