There are many outdoor activities in the desert, year around. Some of my favorites are sitting on the balcony and bird watching, with the beverage of my choice. There are many different seasonal birds to be seen. The hiking is wonderful, whether you want to walk the many stairs and explore Old Bisbee, walk West on Tombstone Canyon road. If you keep walking you will arrive at a great place to see the lay-out of the area. This is a street walk. The road becomes unused except by folks who live in the area and then becomes unused at all. It takes me about an hour or so round trip. The hour does not include the hanging out time. There is shopping in very cool and inviting places if you walk east on Tombstone Canyon, many restaurants with very good food, wine, beer and cocktails There are cool dark bars to try, some have food and local beer making to experience. Old Bisbee has a community seasonal pool that is incredibly nice, with a slide. The park cross the street is a good place to have a lot of folks gather for a big meal. Tombstone is less than an hour away. Stop on your way in or on your way out. Go to the Lavender Pit, it's cool to see and understand the history of the area. There is a Smithsonian exhibit up in our local museum, also informational. See the changes time makes. If you just want to relax Sun Country Guest House is a great place to for it.
