Retired from St. Vincent's, Little Rock, AR, where I worked as a medical transcriptionist. I do stained glass as a hobby and presently working toward making this into my full time business. My husband is still working and comes to Tumbling Shoals on weekends to be with family. He is the co-owner of Estell & Son Trucking, located in Little Rock, Arkansas. The Tumbling Shoals area, where I live near my rental location, is a beautiful area where my husband and I initially located as a vacation area, but later decided to retire to due to the proximity of the property to the lake and river and our love of boating and fishing.

Why they chose this property

The area is very quiet, yet accessibility is excellent. It is within 1/2 mile of the lake for boat launching, and also a sandy beach located at the federal park called old hwy 25. Trout fishing is popular in this area and property is located approximately 15 minutes from the river. Wildlife is abundant and deer can be seen grazing on our property most evenings. We are located within 15 minutes of Baptist Hospital or 20 minutes to shopping at Wal-Mart in Heber Springs. We have a large vacant lot available for folks who have barges and boats. The large lot is level with the road, so moving boats and barges in and out to go to the lake is done very easily. We have folks who park their boats there all year long with no problems. You can also park boats adjacent to the rental in front of the brown privacy fence.

What makes this property unique

Great 4th of July fireworks display. Also, enjoy cardboard boat races on the last weekend of July. Plenty of nature trails in and around the Federal parks in this area.
