Spacious 3400 sq. ft. luxury 4 bedroom beautiful mountain retreat is located in the exclusive Weisshorn section of Breckenridge, less than 1/2 mile from the center of town & less than five minutes from the slopes of Breckenridge Ski Resort. It's great for either winter or summer use. At the end of the street, you can avail of a local free bus to take you in to town or to the ski lifts!

Kitchen with stainless appliances, granite counter tops and high end kitchen accessories where any gourmet chef will feel at home. Seating for four at kitchen island. Relax on two oversized couches in front of a gas burning fireplace with a new 48 inch flat screen TV above it.

Dining Room with comfortable seating for 10 & with entrance to deck.

Master Bedroom has a King size bed, private deck, 36' TV, walk-in closet & a full bathroom with Jacuzzi tub & a separate shower and double sinks.

nice place, but there were a few issues

Fireplace did not work, but it was fixed the 2nd day, master bath shower does not drain well, next door apartment can be loud for those staying in the master bedroom, and the heat takes awhile to warm up. Functional place for families and good location.

Owner's Response: Hi Michael, Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review. We appreciate the feedback. We will get someone in immediately to take a look at the shower drain. I am so sorry that you found it noisy. There is only one adjoining wall between the apartment and the house. It is located inside a walk-in closet in the apartment and makes up part of a wall in the master bedroom of the house. We rarely get any complaints of noise but I do apologize if you were disturbed in any way. Concerning the heat, It is a big house with high ceilings and does take a short while to heat up. We do keep it at 68 degrees for that reason. We do hope you enjoyed your stay and will come back again next time you are in Breckenridge!

Impressive Duplex

This appears to be a large home with 3 car garage. We were a bit surprised to find it is a duplex that shares common areas (entry, garage, parking, hot tub) otherwise both areas are pretty separate. Home is as pictured with normal rental wear & tear and obviously remodeled at some point. (many light switches in odd places). Kitchen has most utensils pots & pans needed to fix just about anything. Pantry has some usable staples & spices left over from previous renters. Property is 1/2 mile from Main St. uphill, a bus stop is at the end of the street that services town & gondola. Overall not bad, in a pinch I would rent again.

Owner's Response: Thanks so much for taking the time to review our property. We appreciate feedback from our renters so we can get a feel for what needs to be changed, updated, repaired, etc. As you pointed out, the property is only 1/2 mile "uphill" from Main St. but it is in the mountains and, therefore, the town is only 1/2 mile downhill from the house! LOL. More importantly, the two bdrm apartment is completely seperate from the house except for the common areas that you pointed out - the garage (which the apartment is over) and the entry foyer. However, they do NOT share a hot tub. Both the house and the apartment have their own seperate, as well as private, hot tubs (apparently so private that you didn't even know it was there!). In regards to the staples in the house such as spices, oil etc, we have them replaced regularly by our maintenance person. Items left by the previous renters that, in the opinion of our cleaning lady, may be useful to the next tenant, (coffee, sugar, etc) are left in the house for the next tenant's benefit if they so choose. Everything else is removed and disposed of. We are sorry that the house did not meet your total expectations. We do try. We are hoping to renovate and update this year before the 18/19 ski season starts. We hope that you will give us another try even if you are not in a "pinch"!

This home is beautiful and perfectly located just minutes from main street in Breck. Norma and Tracy were great, answered their phones, gave great instructions, and had the house all ready to go when we showed up. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Nice place with convenient location to downtown Breckenridge and also the ski lifts.

Our concerns include: ice on the ground near the front entry, master toilet tank not always filling with water and flushing, master sink on the right not draining properly, fireplace only ignited a couple times after several attempts, and too many remotes to figure out the TV’s. Overall good place and location with a pool table and hot tub. Kitchen was well-stocked with dinnerware and cookware. There was no pepper available, and the salt was “stuck” but eventually came out. Felt we picked up and cleaned the place to nearly look like the next renters could walk in, with the exception of the linens we left in the laundry room as requested. Felt it was tacky to leave an envelope for a cleaning tip when we are already paying $150 for cleaning. We did have a wonderful time and would consider renting this property again.

Owner's Response: Thank so you much for bringing your concerns to our attention. We were there 2 weeks ago and did not have any issues with the toilet or sink, however, we will definately get someone in to look at it. Something could have happened between then and now. The fireplace has been temperamental since it was put in new last season. Although it lights up most of the time, we know it sometimes has issues. The company that installed it says they cannot find anything wrong. We think that the best solution is to replace it next season so everyone can enjoy it when they want ad it will light up each and every time. The ice in the front of the house is caused by the melting snow. To help eliminate the incredible accumulation of snow on the roof, our roof is heated. The melting snow drips off the roof and onto the ground below. When the temperature drops, the melted snow freezes causing the ice to form. We chopped the ice up when we were there 2 weeks ago but I guess it has accumulated again. We will certainly have someone come in to remove it. Lastly, we have had the cleaning lady replace the salt and pepper. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay and that you would consider returning! We would love to have you! Thanks again for your insight. It really is appreciated as we are always trying to improve things so that our renters can have the best vacation experience possible.
