Great location, uncomfortable otherwise.
Great Location and Amazing Views.
There were small ants which made you feel a bit bonkers but maybe I stayed a bit too long. 9 weeks total. They did send an exterminator a week later.
I must admit the host did not make me feel very wanted or valued as a guest.Considering how long I stayed it would have been nice if he was at least a bit more polite.
I won't get into too much detail but it is quite impolite to rarely check in but when you do be bossy and rude about it.
For example:
It should not be expected that I will be okay with workers coming in to the apartment on Friday when I only found out the Wednesday prior for a full day of work and heavy construction. I wasn't informed and they probably assumed I would be at work. (I found out accidentally when inquiring about the ants and some other small things) The host was very aggressive and defensive stating he reached out to me 2 weeks in advance. (They delayed the work but it was still uncomfortable having to pull him up on the timeline and accusatory language. He admitted he did not try to inform me).
The biggest faux pas for me was that he reached out to me a good 2 weeks before my original departure date not to ask how i was doing but to ask me when I would be checking out so his aunt could inspect the place and assess etc. That made me feel very unwanted as a guest. He was so focused on his deposit and finding flaws that he made me feel uncomfortable being there.
Unfortunate! I left the place as I found it.
