4+ bedroom brand-new contemporary green home in subdivision at the base of Canyons. Stunning light and views. Designed by award-winning architects Carney Logan Burke.

Open great room with 26 ft. ceilings, fireplace, huge dining table (seats 10-12), 11 ft. granite kitchen island, floor-to-ceiling windows, spectacular views of slopes and valley.

Each of four main bedrooms is set up with a king bed, its own bath, and satellite TV. Two bedrooms also have large desks and a third is adjacent to an office loft with a large desk. One of the bedrooms includes a vestibule with two additional twin beds.

The main level includes the great room, powder room, a bedroom, and a large mud room connecting to the garage. A large sheltered terrace spans the front of the main level.

The lower level includes a family room with 60' TV, gas fireplace, bar, and refrigerator, plus two bedrooms with king beds and baths. A large sectional sofa easily accommodates two teenagers. The lower patio and hot tub are off of the family room.

The upper level includes king bed, master bath with corner soaking tub, fireplace, and cozy seating area. A loft overlooks the great room and includes a fold-down double bed and an expansive desk. The master suite also features a covered deck with views to the slopes and the valley below.

Wireless internet throughout the house.

Getting to the house from SLC:

The airport is 35 minutes away via I-80. The house is 3 miles from the exit off the interstate, about equidistant between the freeway and Old Town Park City.

Getting to the slopes:

Our 5-home subdivision is across Red Pine Rd. from a groomed Canyons ski trail. You walk across Red Pine Rd., put your skiis on and ski down to the Sunrise Lift, which services The Hyatt Escala and our subdivision. The other two resorts in Park City are a few minutes away by car. Most of the other major Utah resorts are less than an hour away.

About The Owner

We are university professors from Philadelphia and spend much of our summer in Park City. Our two sons are avid snowboarders and get us out to our house at the Canyons as much as possible in the winter, too.

The Owner purchased this house in 2010

Why The Owner chose Park City

This is a custom home we built in 2010. Our house is perfectly located at the base of the Canyons, which provides convenient ski access, while still affording quick access to the nice restaurants and stores at Kimball Junction and in Old Town.

What makes this house unique

Our home is one of just six single-family homes that is part of the Canyons Resort Village. This gives the perfect combination of the luxury of a standalone home, outstanding views, and convenient access to activities. Why stay in a condo when you can have a light-filled house with fantastic views, and be able to pull right into the garage?

Fantastic property

Fantastic property with comfortable contemporary feel. Plenty of room to stretch out with lower levels available for kids to hang out. Everything organized and ready for arrival with clear instructions. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well stocked with supplies and linens. Kitchen came supplied with multiple staples and items to make cooking and grilling on deck next to fire pit a breeze. Property located close to the Canyons base area and made it easy to access skiing. We have been coming to the Canyons the last 12 years and enjoyed this stay the most. Would return for future stays.

Beautiful Property, great location

We had a group of 11 for our annual ski trip. The house is huge and had plenty of space and privacy for everyone. Super modern with a great kitchen where multiple people can cook and a big dining room table to eat. Views of the mountain from one side and the valley from the other side. Absolutely amazing to be eating dinner and see the snow falling right outside the large windows.

While it's not 100% ski in/out... it's a short walk (maybe 100 yards) to get to the trail which takes you down to the sunrise lift. Location is private, yet close to Canyons Village and we had no problem ubering ($12-15) to Park City main street.

The hot tub is large, easy to cover and perfect for Apre Ski.

Karl was great with communication and we had no issues.

Just an amazing 5 day trip in a great house. I would highly recommend.

Amazing Home

The house is simply amazing. Came out and stayed for a long weekend ski trip in Feb. Very easy to get in and out for skiing, and a quick walk/drive down to Canyons Village. Lots of TV's and fireplaces plus a hot tub make for good relaxing after a day of skiing.

Karl was super responsive and made check-in and check-out extremely easy.

Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Amazing and comfortable!!

The house is beautiful, walking distance to the slopes. We stayed here with another family so ten of us total. Plenty of space for everyone, beautifully decorated, lots of TVs. Lots of restaurants and fun things to do nearby.

Ski Meeting

An excellent property for winter ski activity. Due to the spring weather, snow conditions were good but not outstantding. This limited our ski-in/ski-out capability. The home was very comfortable and well equipped. We would consider a return trip! The value/price was excellent.
