FAQ's

Q. How deep is the water at the dock?
A. While the lake level varies, the dock is moved to keep the depth at the end of the dock between 4 and 6 feet. There is room to keep your boat for your entire stay.

Q. Is the kitchen stocked?
A. The kitchen is stocked with ample cookware and dinnerware as well as more than 30 spices. There is a microwave, gas stove and oven, and dishwasher.

Q. Can fish be caught from the dock?
A. We frequently catch fish from the dock (see pictures). There is also a sturdy canoe that can be used. We would be happy to provide tips on bait and tackle that has worked. No guarantees! Search Kerr Lake fishing info for a great forum for tips!

Q. Can you wade into water from shore?
You can wade into the water and swim from shore. You can also jump and swim from the dock using the swim ladder.

Q: Is there WiFi at the house?
Yes! WiFi Internet is now available

Family Vacation
Property was in a very serene location, very quiet. Home is nice but could use a good cleaning we swept dog hair up all week. The beds could use more comfortable mattresses. I notified owner of a few things that were damaged. She offered to reimburse me if I wanted to go buy. My correspondence with her was quickly answered. We experienced a few rodents during our stay..in kitchen area, we tried keeping our food in tight containers. I would score 6 of 10.

Walk to lake longer than expected photo is deceiving. The black notebook with information needs to be updated. Canoe leaked. Loved the location and the house. Only two restaurants in Clarksville

Quiet lake getaway
House is located in a private development and is very secluded. Dock is in a small cove with almost no boat traffic. Lots of wildlife to view as you sit on the deck or walk to the lake. Great getaway from internet for the kids.

Our 5th Stay!
This was our fifth summer family vacation at this property! It is a wonderful time, as usual! The property was quiet, clean and full of amenities. Our family loves this property and our stay.

Rustic location, no communication
Place in a great rustic location with a lot of bedrooms. A very nice living room. House has gravel path through woods to dock. Amazing fishing on a beautiful lake. No wifi or Cell service(15 min drive or 1/4 mi walk to lake) Pictures show premium place, but outdoor equipment seems outdated, as well as dock. We had a couple of chairs break while we were sitting in them on dock. Dishes were dirty on shelves and dishwasher was full. Old clothes were left around the house. Coffee left in pot. DVD players and remotes didn't work. Overall, could use improvement. A bit disappointing.
