My husband and I live in Saskatchewan (1200 miles from Vancouver) Our son lives in Vancouver so we purchased this property to have a place of our own when visiting him. As well as investing in a rental property. We love our condo for its excellent location and beautiful view. We enjoy the Rec center just three blocks away for bridge. We enjoy dining out as well as cooking in and entertaining our friends. Also we love to ride our bikes around Stanley Park. We both golf but my husband is by far the better golfer. We travel and spend two months a year in Palm Springs, California.

We purchased this property because it is so close to Stanley Park, English Bay, walking and bike trails, large selection of restaurants and shopping.

What makes this condo unique

We enjoy riding our bikes, dining at the many unique restaurants, playing bridge at the Rec centre, walking on the various walkways. Our favourite walk is Lost Lagoon, only 3 blocks away with swans, squirrels, ducks, etc.

Amazing views over Stanley Park & Mountains. Everything in walking distance. Quality condo.

We've stayed for six months in this lovely condo. The views are breathtaking, overlooking coal harbour, Stanley Park and the North Vancouver mountain ranges. Walking to West End restaurants & Stanley Park takes less than 5 minutes, city centre about 20 minutes, English Bay about 15 minutes. In short, everything you could possibly want is nearby, plus there is a bus stop about 500yards away with excellent links to the city as well as West Vancouver. The double glazed windows do well with keeping out the road noise. There are high quality blinds to stop both the heat in summer, and light from coming in. All furnishing is of good standards and comfortable. Plenty of crockery, glassware and cutlery available as well bedlinen and towels. There are also two large televisions and high speed internet. I would 100% recommend anyone coming to Vancouver to book this condo. We looked at many others, but the quality of the apartment and the amazing location make this a no brainer. If we are every fortunate enough to come back to Vancouver, we will definitely book again.

Second visit. Excellent condo.

This was our second stay which should tell you how we feel about the condo and owners.

Everything that one would need to have a great vacation was here.

The apartment was spotless. It is well located, near transportation and many restaurants. A car is not needed although a space is available.

The view from the 10th floor eating area was fantastic. You could not have asked for more if you love to see mountains, water, boats, seaplanes, etc. From the far corner you can even see the cruise ships coming and going.

I would not hesitate to recommend this condo. You will not be disappointed.

Best Condo Yet

We've rented on VRBO dozens of times in many countries and this was the best condo yet for us. Top raves for central location, spectacular views, walkability, nearby groceries and restaurants, quiet building, transit access, ensuite laundry and even parking spot! And we appreciated the thorough recycling in the building. Two things stood out though: a fully-equipped kitchen that let us prepare meals just like home. And for the Car Guy: car-spotting of all makes, models, colours, vintages from the bird's-eye "glass room". Both of these really added to our enjoyment of Ev's place. Plus quick attention to our questions by Ev herself. Everything in the listing is accurate, no exaggerations. If we're in Vancouver, this is #1.

Central Location with Incredible Views!

The expression “home away from home” captures our stay at the Shadbolts’ condo. The views of Coal Harbour and the mountains were spectacular regardless of the time of day or weather. The condo was clean, nicely decorated and well equipped with all the essentials offering a comfortable base from which to explore Vancouver. The building is well maintained and the central location was perfect with shopping and public transportation within easy walking distance. The surrounding area was vibrant and with so many people about, we enjoyed many long walks without concerns for our safety. The Shadbolts were excellent hosts. Shortly after our arrival they checked in with us to ensure that all was well and responded quickly to any questions or concerns that we had during our stay. We would definitely book the condo again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Vancouver.

Wonderful condo with outstanding views

After staying the second time in this amazing condo we are looking forward to returning. The location could not be better being so close to Stanley Park with many outdoor activities and beautiful gardens, Coal Harbor with all the boats and seaplanes, and Denman and Robson Streets with shops, restaurants, grocery and liquor stores. The condo is extremely well equipped and comfortable - even air conditioned - and the garage is a real bonus since parking in Vancouver can be difficult, but the most amazing feature is the view of Coal Harbor, Stanley Park and all the mountains to the north. The owner, Ev, and her family could not have been more friendly, accommodating and helpful. Many thanks to all of them for everything they did to make our stay in Vancouver so memorable.

Convenient, Compact Condo in Convenient Location

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful stay in this well-equipped, secure condo excellently situated in Vancouver's West End. "Location is everything"--so this condo has it all. We explored Stanley Park, the Sea Wall, Canada Place, Gastown, Granville island, English Bay, downtown Irish Pubs and restaurants, the superb Vancouver Public Library and more. Within blocks we could access a variety of tours, including whale watching, harbour excursions and seaplane trips. The Sky Train--both the Expo and Canada Lines--are easily accessible and grant rapid transit to more distant points around the city. For cyclists, there are several rental outlets within one block. The 10th floor views of the North Shore mountains, Stanley Park, the Vancouver Yacht and Rowing clubs, and restless Georgia Street are beautiful and fascinating.

The condo itself was clean, well-maintained, convenient and supplied with all necessary cooking and eating utensils, towels and sheets. As well, the firm, comfortable bed allowed for restful sleep. A washer and dryer added to the convenience. The internet and TV service were excellent. The owners were most helpful in answering any questions we had, and they had posted useful directions for routine use of the condo, parking, cleaning, etc.

Overall, this condo exceeded our expectations and permitted a most enjoyable stay in the dynamic and beautiful city of Vancouver.
