Look No Further! St. Mac's is a traditional, Caribbean style stand alone villa. The Beach Front Apartment is on the Ground level steps away from the beach, and has a spacious open floor plan. It has a gourmet kitchen, featuring granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, including dishwasher. All the modern conveniences, plus an incredible Ocean Soundtrack--cooking with a view! The large dining area will be a perfect place to serve your fresh local fish. Outside, your private Beachfront Garden awaits, lined with palm trees and lounge chairs. Float, swim, dive and snorkel to your heart's content in the clear, warm Caribbean waters that are your front yard. The very best reef for snorkeling is a few short paddles away!

We recently added a day bed in the corner of the large living room area (near the patio door), so the unit can sleep 3 adults comfortably and offer some privacy to 2 unrelated adults. You can beat the location with the ocean view and breeze and private yard in front.

Let the sound of waves lull you to sleep in the comfy King bedroom. Soft pillows and nice sheets add to the total sleeping experience. You can choose to sleep either in fan cooled or Air conditioned comfort. The beachfront apartment also has sliding doors that open out onto a private garden patio, with table and chairs ideal for dining al fresco under the stars. You may also choose lounging in your hammock, just lazily reading and dozing. The calendar shown here is for this Beachfront Apartment.

Brand new comfy furniture is in your spacious, open living/dining area, and all your favorite Satellite TV channnels, a DVD player and WiFi are available so you don't have to miss a thing (unless you want to!). Curl up with a good book or your computer in the special reading area by the picture window with ocean view..

24 hour Security is on the grounds, a full time landscaper and twice weekly Housekeeping is also included, as is purified water. Provisions are readily available down the street at the local Deli at West Bay "Mal"l and there is good local food, a popular coffee shop, and an intimate Sushi bar. Many other dining options are steps away, and many great dive shops (we love Bananarama) are located nearby. Don't miss the weekly visits of the man selling local fresh seafood when he comes to St. Mac's! The villa is located right next door to Infinity Bay Condominiums, with it's popular Sports Bar, pool, and restaurant. Taxi boats ($5 each way) can take you from the dock right in front of the villa to funky West End with its happening restaurants and night life, and regular taxis are readily available to drive you back home. Enjoy World Class snorkeling and diving just steps down the beach!

St. Mac's is the Oceanfront part of West Bay Village, a small private enclave of 8 Caribbean style homes that have retained their Caribbean character in a Concrete CondoWorld. If you are looking for charm and True Beachfront, Look No Further!

We are happy to arrange for our driver, Marty, to meet your flight at RTB airport, then bring you to St Mac's. He will stop at our local well stocked grocery store ($10) along the way for provisions for your cooking pleasure. Marty charges $25 (up to 4 people; $40 for more than 4), and you pay him directly. He can also help with any other transport needs you may have during your stay.

Refund policy: for cancellation 90+ days before arrival, full deposit refund. 50% of your deposit is refundable upon cancellation within 60-89 days or more of your arrival. If you cancel in 59 days or less, your deposit is non refundable. All non refundable deposits may be used towards another St Mac's booking within 6 months of cancellation, based on availability. However, we are happy to work with you and are very reasonable.

St. Mac's Beachfront Villa is owned by two diving couples who have a longtime love affair with Roatan, and West Bay Beach. We are lucky enough to live in Lake Tahoe in the summer, and Roatan is Home as often as we can make it down here. St. Mac's is a great place for family gatherings! Nothing says relaxation like a good book, the sound of waves in the background, a dip in the warm waters of the Caribbean, and a beautiful sunset....

We started coming to Roatan 25 years ago, back in the Wild West days before there were real roads out to West Bay (and condos). An ongoing love affair started with West Bay Beach (back then it was all called West End), and St. Mac's was always the best house on the best beach--a true traditional Caribbean style charmer. Time has passed, and we are thrilled to be co-owners with another couple who feel the same way we do! We've been all over the world searching for the perfect white sand beach with world class diving and snorkeling, and crystal clear warm water....it is here at West Bay Beach and St Mac's. Despite West Bay's growth and new concrete condo construction, St. Mac's is STILL the best house on the best beach, just with more dining options!

What makes this apartment unique

Why be 'steps to the ocean' or a '7 minute walk' to West Bay Beach? Be True Beachfront, right on the sand! This is the charming yellow house many people stop to take pictures of while walking down the beach. 24 hour Security Guards on site, plenty of parking, and a private Beachfront garden with swaying palms, lounge chairs, hammocks, and beautiful sunsets provided!

You can’t find a better place on the beach

This place was very nice. You can’t beat the location. The view is amazing and It is walking distance to restaurants, and stores.

Everything was nice, clean, and updated. Kitchen is well stocked and had new appliances.

The staff is very friendly and made check in and check out very quick and easy, as well as setting up transportation at arrival and departure.

There is always security present to make sure that only residents come on to the property.

Way too expensive for a 1 bedroom that needs updated..

Next door was Casa Martin which was also part of West Bay Village & we had friends staying there. That place was excellent!! We also had friends upstairs at St Macs & it was nice but not as nice as Casa Martin. We had St Macs beachfront & it needs updated & not worth the price we paid. We had terrible weather which I know they can't help..

Beautiful house and site, well kept up, helpful staff

Weather was wet and windy off and on...guess just a bad year, but didn't expect it. Getting a bit crowded with all the development and cruise ships, rain actually made it more peaceful, and quiet. Privacy maintained at St. Mac's, lots of space, light, beautiful views.

Bought and cooked great lobster on the grill, wish we had had a list of where/how to find fresh seafood and tropical fruit, banana bread on arrival. By the time we found out these resources it was time to leave. Staff helpful in getting us coconuts and opening them.😊

Visit to park with zip line frustrating. Web sites, tourist representatives all cited different entry prices...10$ to 40$. On arrival at entrance had to pay 30$ for unremarkable venue. Everything else was great and as advertised. In general a lovely place to visit with friendly helpful people.

Perfect Home in Paradise

The beachfront apartment at St. Mac's is perfect, it has everything you will need and is clean and comfortable. The roped in yard is very large and lets you have your own space rather than be lined up with everyone else on the beach.

The beach is fantastic and most days the water was calm and the ocean looked like a swimming pool. You are close to everything so you can walk down the beach for meals or just a casual stroll. The apartment does have a refrigerator, stove & microwave so you do have the option to stay in for meals which we did for breakfast & lunch. We had the driver that picked us up at the airport stop by Eldon's Supermarket in Coxen Hole for groceries.

Do not hesitate to rent this place it is spectacular and we loved every minute. St. Mac's has three rental option the lower Beachfront unit with one bedroom, one bath, the Garden Unit at the back of the house with one bedroom, one bath and the upstairs unit with three bedrooms and two baths. We will definitely be renting at St. Mac's again next year.

Vacation at St. Mac's Roatan

This was our first visit to Roatan that was not on a cruise ship. We were very pleased with St. Mac's. The location is very convenient and the owners were extremely helpful in working with us. We enjoyed the beach and several restaurants that were within easy walking distance. The Infinity resort is just next door, and I had a luxurious massage at their Spa. We have friends that live on Roatan, and it was especially nice to have them over to visit and enjoy the beach with us. The rental management staff were also helpful in making sure our needs were met. Hope to go back again!
