We really enjoyed our stay in Key Largo for the month of January. The house itself is elevated above a patio/parking. Upon entering the house, there is a hallway that divided the two sides of the house. One area has the master bedroom, master bathroom, den, second bedroom and a hallway bathroom. The master bed and bath are quite large. The master has a king bed, a good-sized walk-in closet and patio doors that lead to the balcony. The master bath has a large tub and a separate shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The bathroom is across the hallway. The den has a twin trundle bed. This area does not close off with a door. The main area of the house has the kitchen, living room area, dining area, and the second master bedroom. This second master is just off the kitchen and has its own bathroom and a queen bed. The house was well-equipped, and the appliances worked well. It has a big open living room/dining room area. The couches are new and were comfortable, and the TV set was large and worked well. The table in the dining area has seating for at least 6. The kitchen had a peninsula with 4 chairs available. This was a working vacation for my husband, so he set up his work area in the living room with a view of the balcony and water. The internet was spotty at times, but he was still able to make it work. The view from the large balcony was outstanding. The view is of the water, mangroves, and the edge of John Pennekamp State Park. The balcony off the living area had many chairs and a table to sit and enjoy the water view. The master bedroom also had a TV and a balcony. The queen bedroom also had a small TV and a balcony. The second master did not have a TV but had its own balcony also. The place does not have a garage, but the parking is covered. The laundry room is in the kitchen area. The house has a hot tub on the lower level along with comfortable seating for many. The backyard area is not sand but covered with a course gravel. We saw many spectacular sunrises at the house and sunsets at various places on the other side of the key. We had a couple of small issues that were dealt with in a satisfactory manner. The owners were very nice to work with and genuinely wanted us to have a great time at their house. It was close to many interesting areas, state parks, restaurants, and bars. The Key Largo area is beautiful, clean, and safe. We would recommend this rental for couples or families.
