About this property

Lake Tahoe Lakeview Lodge at Meeks Bay - Permit VHR 073395/ TOT-T64661

Lakeview Lodge is an extraordinary 4500 square foot mountain home with a panoramic view of Lake Tahoe. We are located in beautiful Meeks Bay on the very popular West Shore. The outstanding architecture of this newer home is demonstrated by a grand entry, gable peaks, distinctive combinations of cedar siding, granite stone wainscoting and log posts and beams. Two great decks overlooking the lake include comfortable patio furniture, hot tub, gas barbecue and magnificent vistas. This is a large and scenic property with many trees and a usable slope great for sledding, picnics and family fun. There is a two car garage with easy access across a stone paved driveway.

The interior design begins with a wonderful floor plan and a spacious Great Room open to the kitchen and dining room on the top floor. The large granite fireplace brings warmth and beauty to this elegant yet comfortable family gathering space. The wood ceiling is vaulted with log posts and beams and the walls feature cedar wainscoting. The floor is oil rubbed distressed walnut. The furniture is all new mountain motifs with nail studded rich mountain fabrics and distressed Irish imported pine dining room table and chairs. There is a large granite top island with 6 pine swivel chairs for casual dining and as a central conversation area. The kitchen is complete with all gourmet appliances and custom hand distressed knotty alder cabinets; a beautiful place to prepare great meals in a friendly, family atmosphere with the lake view as your backdrop. For entertainment the Great Room has a large LCD and high quality surround sound system, with Blue-ray DVD’s; internet access and CD Player.

There is a beautiful master bedroom on the top floor with a great view of the lake through multiple gable windows. This large room has a king bed, two-way marble fireplace to the master bath, vaulted cedar ceiling, wood floor with southwestern rug and master closet. The master bath has a Jacuzzi tub with a private view of the lake while you have a double delight with the warmth and beauty of the fireplace. Marble and hand made mountain tile in shower and counter tops, branch and twig mirrors and custom distressed cabinets give this special place unique mountain design.

The top floor also includes a unique handsome mud-room for your boots, coats and shoes and also includes one of two laundry rooms in this home.

Now if you have to leave this floor there is additional wonderful space on the floor below. This floor also enjoys great views of the lake. There is a spacious family room furnished again with beautiful and comfortable mountain couches. The family room has a handsome granite fireplace, large LCD, Blue-ray DVD and VCR with another high quality surround sound system. There is a game closet and game tables for family fun. A trex deck is off the family room with seating areas and views of the lake.

The rest of this floor has 4 large bedrooms with queen mountain beds and adjoining or nearby bathrooms. These rooms are nicely furnished and appointed with spacious closets and nice views, many of the lake. There are two adjoining bunk rooms each with two bunk beds. There are drawing doors that separate these rooms allowing the space to be open or closed to each other. The bunk rooms have adjoining baths. There is another laundry room on this level.

There is finished game room with pool table.

This home is in Meeks Bay within easy walking distance to the Meeks Bay Resort with its beautiful aquamarine water, expansive sandy beach, boat marina and great hiking trail heads. In the winter, this home is well located to the best ski resorts in North and South Lake Tahoe.

Beautiful stay near Homewood
We had a lovely stay. Three families with kids ranging from 5-10. Beautiful home with plenty of space and amenities. Gorgeous views of the lake and just 9 mins from Homewood. Beautiful and cozy long weekend. Very clear and timely communication with owner. Would return again!

Our 40th Anniversary celebration
The house was warm and cozy, and very family friendly. We had great communication with the host, Joe whenever I had a question. There was eight adults, and nine grandchildren— 10 and under. There was plenty of room for everyone with seven bedrooms available. The fireplace in the master was awesome and there was another fireplace on the first & second level family room. It snowed while we were there and the street turned into an awesome Snow hill. I would definitely recommend this home. 😊 Thank you Mr & Mrs. Joe Lynch

Tahoe family trip
What a wonderful stay at Lake Tahoe Lakeview Lodge. The cabin was perfect size for 13 adults. There was plenty of room for socializing or relaxing on the deck enjoying the beautiful view. Property manager was very easy to communicate with and quick to answer our questions. We would definitely come back.

Host profile image
This property is owned by 385 Lakeview Drive LLC. I am Joseph T. Lynch, Trustee and Managing member of this LLC. This 4500 square foot home is in relatively new condition. I am a retired homebuilder and this is the first home I built for my family. There was a lot of tender loving care put into the planning and construction of this home. When you see it, I think you will very much appreciate that. The furniture and decorations are mountain motif and were selected for comfort and enjoyment of our family and guests. Lake Tahoe is our favorite place on the planet. We are avid skiers who enjoy seeing the lake every day. The summers are fantastic and the fall and spring are wonderful too. I'm sure you will enjoy your stay.
