In need of a major clean and updates!
The condo is quite old with no updates and the cleanliness of the place needs a lot of close attention by the host! The location is great, across from the beach with many shops around, although it is quite noisy at night with street traffic, especially if you have a guest sleeping on the pull out couch in the living room. The pull out couch is extremely dirty, my guest opted for the blow up bed we requested. The air conditioners in the bedroom and living room were both old and in need of updating as they don't put out much cool air and they cut in and out constantly - at minimum, changing the filter would probably help. Highly suggest paying a bit more for a newer, cleaner, updated, well maintained place, than staying here.

We enjoyed our 6th floor condo. Wonderful ocean view. Easy walking distance to many restaurants, a grocery store and to many beautiful beaches. The host was great. The condo was well equipped.

Great view and location
The best features of this property is location and view. I think this is the only 6 story building in the area and is designed with all units to have an ocean view. Since this unit is on the top floor, the ocean view was the best! We enjoyed watching surfers, both experienced and beginners in surf school, from our lanai. The location is adjacent to shops, restaurants, and bars. The building lower level has shops including a great deli and a convenience store.it also has good off street parking. The owner was very responsive to questions or problems we had.

Ocean View from your Penthouse is awesome. You can watch surfers and see whales during season, Maui sunsets every night. Great location in the heart of Kihei. On the first floor of the Island Surf you can sign up for Surf Lessons, (carry your board right across the street to "The Cove", known by the locals as the best place on Maui to learn how to surf), get your diving equipment at Maui Dream Dives, Grab and Go, or rent a bike or even get a tattoo next to The Man Cave shop. You can walk to Charley Young Beach, the beginning of Kamole 1, "The Cove" beach is across the street. Kalama State Park has acres of green lawn, activities such as volleyball, tennis courts, baseball fields, children's park, endless walking pleasure along the ocean.

You can sign up for Surf Lessons at Island Surf and walk across street for your surf lesson. You can walk to Maui's popular food trucks (as featured on TV), to 5 star restaurants, take advantage of "happy hour drinks and pupus" specials such as at Three's Bar and Grill with live entertainmen, Kihei Caffe opens at 5:00am (sidewalk cafe voted Kihei's best breakfast), grab a shaved ice or visit the local shops for unique clothes, Maui made gifts and souvenirs.
