VILLA TRENTINO

Villa Trentino is a beautiful home located just a 10 minute-walk from the central park of La Fortuna, very close to main restaurants, tour companies, souvenir stores, supermarkets, pharmacies, etc. All that the town has to offer.

Villa Trentino is located in the 'Valle del Volcan', one of the best neighborhoods in town, where locals and many foreigners have moved to this corner of paradise to enjoy the 'PURA VIDA' !

Villa Trentino was built in European design with a 1200 m2 garden, with a wide variety of ornamental plants and fruit trees; as well as hummingbirds, toucans, and a variety of different bird species.

At Villa Trentino we have a fully equipped and furnished cottage (cable television, internet, kitchen, laundry, etc). This is to provide our guests with the best appliances and commodities just as if you were in your own home. The house is built on two floors, on the ground floor: lounge, kitchen and laundry; on the top floor: two bedrooms, bathroom and a terrace from which you can appreciate the great views of majestic Arenal Volcano, located right in front of the property. The house has been designed so that any of your rooms have a spectacular view of the volcano, day or night you can watch the daily activity of the colossus.

Next to the house and the gardens, that are completely fenced off, we have undercover parking for your car. Also a covered BBQ area and hammocks ,totally available for you to enjoy in absolute privacy.

We offer all the tours available in the area of La Fortuna (volcano hikes, hot springs, rafting, zip-lines, canyoning, horseback riding etc.).All of this with special prices for our guests.

Top notch location
The house was very clean, well equipped, and in a fabulous location close to downtown La Fortuna. The proximity to everything allowed us to easily travel back and forth from our adventures and touring to the house for rest and relaxation. We were fortunate to have the volcano show itself a couple of times, and the view from the balcony is amazing. Early mornings drinking coffee on the balcony, while listening to the sounds of nature was my favourite time there. Unfortunately, we had a mixup upon arrival, in which messages from the owner went to my junk mail and I did not see them. This did understandably upset him and it set our greeting off on the wrong foot and left me feeling terrible about the situation. Needless to say, we did not get the same personal experience, chats and recommendations from the owner that everyone else has raved about In the reviews. His wife, Yorlenny, was very sweet and kind however. Aside from that, we had an enjoyable stay, and do recommend this rental as the owners have done a wonderful job of making it comfortable for guests.

Great stay in Fortuna
Lovely couple own/run the small villa on their own spacious property. One week stay was perfect for our needs. All was well explained at beginning. No hitches. Delightful stay.

Villa Trentino es terrifico
We had an amazing time at Villa Trentino. Stefano and his wife were amazing hosts, giving us so much information about local attractions and even aiding is in booking them. They are very personable and helpful, and just good people. The house was wonderful and spotlessly clean. We loved watching the volcano and hummingbirds and other birds from the balcony of the main bedroom. The house was well appointed, we lacked for nothing. We also loved that we could walk to many restaurants and stores from the house. Highly recommend!

Our good fortune to stay in La Fortuna
We (two couples) stayed at Villa Trentino for four nights to take in the sights of La Fortuna and the Arenal volcano. We had had several communications with Stefano before we arrived and got great advice from him about the logistics of getting there. When we arrived a couple of hours early, he and Yorlenny were there to greet us and show us the property. They were warm hosts who made our stay easy and helped us to make bookings for various tours, even when we asked late at night for a booking the next morning. Stefano made several excellent suggestions about which tours to choose and gave us several great recommendations of restaurants in the town. The property is in a safe location, within easy walking distance of the town, with a great view of the volcano. A visit to La Fortuna is highly recommended and Villa Trentino is the perfect place to stay.

This place is close to perfection. I don't really write reviews as most places I go are acceptable but this one clearly stands out. Neat, clean, with every single thing you need availabl... you cannot go wrong with it. Oh, and the best part, youll get special attention and treatment from the owner. I would say by car is ideal but also, a decent walkable distance from downtown.

Stefano, the owner is a man from the region of Trentino in the Italian Alps (hence the name of the property) and his wife is Yorlenny, a costarican woman.

He came to visit Costa Rica for the first time 24 years ago, he like it so much that 3 months after this trip returned to Costa Rica to settle down.
He loves sports, good food and tranquil life.... 'Pura Vida' as it said in Costa Rica.

The advantage to stay in a very relaxing two stories rural house in the middle of a 1200sqmt tropical garden and yet being in the main street of Fortuna town in less then 10 minutes walking, or 2 with a car, to enjoy everything the town as to offer
