Stay at Palm Island Resort, located on Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast, is the state’s only true-out island resort. No bridges or causeways to the island exsist, which ensures a relaxed, tropical vacation setting. The island resort encompasses a two-mile portion of private, pristine beaches on the northern end of Palm Island. Guests travel to the island via car ferry and park their car in our island parking area. Transportation is provided by our bell staff and golf carts are also available for rent for registered guests.
Enjoy access to one of the 5 heated pools, plus hot tub and gas BBQ grills at each pool area. 11 hard tennis courts available for play and always complimentary. Our recreation center, Coconuts, offers a variety of rentals to include golf carts, bicycles, kayaks and beach umbrellas. Our full service concierge can also arrange for everything from massages to fishing charters. Be sure to catch a Pirate Show with the resort’s own Red Beard the Pirate. Join a complimentary water aerobics class, nature walk or yoga on the beach when scheduled. Whether you wish to spend your time with us on the go or taking it slow, you’re sure to enjoy your new Memories at the Speed of Old Florida.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: walking in the beach and collecting shells. The sliding doors need repair difficult to open. Lost power for several hours and the flashlight had no batteries and no candle.Restaurant is below average for quality of food with little choice.

Initially we were a little apprehensive about having to rely on the ferry when we wanted to go somewhere but we ended up only leaving the island one day. It was quiet and peaceful and the beach was stunning.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My boyfriend and I loved the resort. The atmosphere was quaint and very laid back. We particularly loved riding around on the golf cart and spending time on the beach at Stump Pass. My only problem with my stay was the particular villa that we stayed in. I do realize that I requested a standard unit, but it was completely outdated and didn't have a clean feeling. The air conditioner was not working all that great either. We were there for a wedding, so I was able to see multiple other villas. Our villa was nowhere close to being as nice. I will recommend Palm Island Resort to my friends, just not that particular villa.
