Our home has 14 rooms with seven bedrooms. There are nine (9) working fireplaces, a rear patio with shade garden, a lovely second floor deck overlooking the State House dome, and we are directly across from the beautiful and historic St. John’s College. There is a DVD and (free) book library, a bright front parlor with chess game table, a formal dining room with antique leaded glass, and high-speed wireless secured Internet. All suites have private bath, and flat screen TV, hair dryers, iron and ironing boards, and all the linens you will need. ALSO, ALL BEDROOM SUITES ARE VERY PRIVATE (NO CONNECTING WALLS). The kitchen has just been fully renovated and has everything a chef would need.
Our vision for our home was to preserve the original architectural beauty of its era- with large, bright and colorful rooms, while providing a full range of modern amenities, including sprinkler system and central heat and air with five zones.
We are three blocks from the Naval Academy to the East and 2 blocks from the State House to the West. Our home also sits just two blocks off of Church Circle, which is the logistical “heart” of the town’s historic district. In one direction off of the circle, there’s Main Street. With just one step down the slope of this cobblestone road, you’ll fall in love with this town. It’s because of the view that goes straight down the road to the Annapolis dock harbor, and out onto the Chesapeake Bay. So take your time, stroll Main Street and duck in and out of novelty and gift shops, restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, cafes, and more – it would take you hours to see it all.
On the other side of Church Circle, you’ve got West Street- home of the famed Rams Head Live, and other restaurants like Metropolitan, Level, Tsunami , Carpaccio’s and Luna Blu. While you’re there, stop by the Annapolis Convention and Visitors Bureau for a full list of things to do. We’ve been in Annapolis for 20+ years and active in the community, so we can also help you plan your visit to be a full and rewarding one!
