This is our home away from home, not a corporate rental, and when we're not there, it is our pleasure to share it with fellow north shore lovers. Every piece of furniture and art was hand selected to provide a beautiful and oh so comfortable home to return to after a hard day at play on the north shore. A dramatic two story wall of windows facing the lake lets you enjoy the sights and sounds of this incredible body of water, it's mesmerizing.

Windsong is a small lakeside town home community, not a resort. Enjoy the amenities of an upscale resort without the noise and crowds. Indoor Heated pool, (open between Memorial Day weekend and New Year's Day), a year around sauna, charcoal grill, picnic tables and fire pit are across the driveway.

The Gitchi-Gami State Trail is at the top of Windsong Drive, walk or ride bikes to Split Rock Lighthouse and Gooseberry Falls. Palisade Head and Tettegouche State Park are a few miles up 61. A spur trail from Cove Point offers access to the Superior Hiking Trail, hike for miles through forests, along ridges, rivers, waterfalls and lakes. What an amazing place in every season, come explore by day and relax in style and comfort at night.

Winter guests enjoy miles and miles of nearby cross country and snowmobile trails. The midwest's best downhill skiing is just 40 minutes away at Lutsen. Gooseberry Falls park and Split Rock both have beautiful, groomed cross country ski trails, we use them to snowshoe too. There's nothing like spending time on foot, skis or snowshoes in the woods in winter. It's good for your body, mind and soul.

Walk to nearby restaurants: Northern Lights, Lemon Wolf Cafe, Cove Point Lodge, Camp 61 and Crossings Bar & Grille and The Big Dipper Ice cream shop which are open seasonally. You'll love how conveniently located our home is, come play!

  • The main floor full bath has heated tile floors and connects to the main floor bedroom offering that rooms occupants privacy. The master bedroom has a private bath also with heated tile floors and a large walk-in tile shower. Most Windsong townhomes have a single person whirlpool, we had that removed by the builder and installed a Pearl Maxx whirlpool tub for two with in-line heat to keep the water hot for a long, relaxing soak.

Boats, ATVs, snowmobiles, snowshoes, bicycles, kayaks and canoes can be rented nearby. The Marina is right next to Beaver Bay Sports just 2 miles from our home, great for getting out on the 'big lake'.

Half of the total is due with reservation, balance is due 2 weeks prior to arrival.

Note - We have decided not to charge a damage deposit for one reason, trust. We always speak with our guests prior to accepting a reservation to explain that this is our home and we expect that if there is an issue or damage, you will notify us to make it right. This is a courtesy to our guests to spare them additional upfront cost, even though it is refundable, we understand waiting for a damage deposit refund doesn't always time well with paying your credit card bill and you wind up with a credit balance, no one appreciates that. We hope you appreciate our policy of trusting you with our home by treating it with care and following all instructions and association rules while you are there.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
