Streamside Cottage Walking Distance to Town of Woodstock

Our stream side cottage is privately located on five park-like acres that are landscaped with beautiful gardens. Guests have access to the stream where you can swim, skip rocks, or simply sit and meditate on the nature all around you. We are less than a mile from the center of Woodstock, where you can find a wonderful assortment of restaurants, shops, art galleries and activities.

The cottage has everything you need to relax and enjoy a private getaway in the Hudson Valley. Our guests have all told us how perfectly situated this spot is.

Woodstock is an hour from the airports in Albany and Newburgh, 2.5 hours from JFK, Newark, and La Guardia airports, and a two hour drive from Manhattan. We are also in the area for popular ski areas - Belleayre - Windham and Hunter mountains.

The photos are accurate. The cottage is a separate building from the main house. The cottage building is part of a two car garage and is totally private. The main house is located on the property next door but not connected. We have a camera on our house pointing up the driveway, and none on or around the cottage.

Perfect cottage in the perfect location
If you are reading this far, BOOK IT! It's the perfect cottage in a tranquil setting, just around the corner from the adorable town of Woodstock. Our only dilemma was never wanting to leave, but also wanting to explore the amazing surroundings! And now figuring out how soon we can return! Jane was so helpful with directions and food recommendations!

Weekend Getaway to the Catskills
This cabin was as advertised - and even better! It appears to be recently renovated which the owners did a great job with. The view and accessibility to the creek and the peaceful retreat it offered was just what we needed. The proximity to the center of Woodstock was also a huge plus. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind after tackling the high peaks. We would absolutely stay here again.

Babbling brook cabin
The most charming cabin on a babbling brook. Clean and new. Well appointed. Close to Woodstock. Great area for hiking, art, sightseeing, shopping. Excellent restaurants.

☮️ Peacefully Perfect !
We had an amazing experience at Jane‘s! We found the cottage itself to be absolutely lovely! Perfectly roomy yet still had a cozy feeling. It is well equipped with everything you may need for a carefree stay. The setting is beautiful and far exceeded expectations. The location, with a bedroom view of the stream and outdoor seating is peaceful and idyllic. We loved the town of Woodstock with more to do than then we could see in three days. The location of the cottage to The Barn and the town is just a few short minutes away. We can’t wait to visit again! Thanks Jane!
