Jake's Place has three bedrooms, with two queen beds, 2 twin beds (bunks), and a sofa sleeper [which may work for children, but probably not adults]. The screened-in porch and back yard off the kitchen is a great place for outdoor cookouts and after the beach dinners (grill out on the park-style charcoal grill out back) or night-time games. Relax by the tropically landscaped, private swimming pool while watching some rays, or after dark, with the pool softly lit, it's just magical by the palms and under the live oaks. There's a great covered porch on the front for people watching; watch everyone headed to the beach! Wireless internet service, lots of great HULU + Live channels, and three TVs; in the living room and two of the bedrooms. Parking -- can accommodate 3 cars, or a car and boat and trailer. Umbrellas and chairs are provided, and assorted beach stuff too. We can also recommend beach chair/umbrella and bike rental companies. There are miles and miles of easy (asphalt) bike trails out of Grayton for you to enjoy.
The beach distance is about 200 yards from the front door, with public boardwalk access right down the street. There's places to put in kayaks and canoes, which can be rented close by. There are at least a couple of beach umbrella/chair rental places in Grayton; check them out your first day and don't worry about carrying anything but your towel and cooler to the beach! YOLO boarding is abundant here. Jake's is a 2-3 minute walk to the beach, or shopping at the shops of Grayton Beach, or Grayton Beach General Store and several restaurants.
