A super host and top notch hidden getaway

  • 5 of 5

Can't be beat if you like seclusion, nature, peace and quiet. It's all there for the taking.

The cabin is clean and comfortable, and Teresa has left no stone unturned when it

comes to supplying everything one could possibly need. Her attention to detail is remarkable.

As a couple of old timers walks through the woods were a bit much, but in my younger years I would have loved every step. Still we were up before the dawn and before we knew it we were watching the deer as the sunset. We will absolutely be requesting another visit.

A#1 especially if your family includes dogs!

  • 5 of 5

I can’t believe I forgot to review our stay in November. Our party of four people with dogs loved our time at the cabin! The property is what matters most to me, and this place rocks! You drive past Teresa’s house when you turn off the main road, but once you’re past her house, you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Some nice easy trails loop thru the meadow, and we also climbed the mountain behind the house for some exercise and a lovely view of the mountains. The enclosed backyard was a nice touch that made it easy to leave the dogs out for their bedtime potty break without worrying about them running after critters. And we could sit in the lovely hot tub while the dogs had the run of the gated deck and fenced backyard. It’s a really exceptional set up for those who travel with their dogs.

The cabin is beautiful – my daughter took photos of the blueprints in the hopes of using the plans to build her own house some day. We especially enjoyed all the artwork on the walls. It would be nice to have some additional seating in the living room – a comfy chair or recliner. The couch is nice and big, but the loveseat off to the side isn’t very comfortable. The bedrooms are all nice, and the upstairs bedroom is gorgeous!

Communication with Teresa was exceptional – very responsive and helpful. She was very understanding about a mishap I had with the vacuum and a nightstand – I’m not used to those big upright vacuums with such powerful suction! We prefer to do the cleanup ourselves over paying a hefty cleaning fee like some places charge, so we appreciated saving money that way. My only suggestion there would be to provide something easy to handle like a Swiffer mop instead of an old fashioned mop. But I really can’t say enough nice things about Teresa, the cabin, and the property – it was all fabulous. We hope to come back some day!

quiet retreat

we enjoyed the peaceful setting. we climbed into the hot tub each day after hiking the area. it was still too early for spring, but a few flowers braved the cold temps. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. would recommend this location.

Cozy and serene

  • 5 of 5

This was our second trip to the cabin in Beverly and it was just as fantastic as the first! The cabin was as beautiful and cozy as we remembered, and the scenery around the cabin and the town area was wonderful. The cabin is perfectly located within easy driving distance to fun sites to explore - civil war battle sites, national forests, hiking trails with breathtaking mountain views, all of which we were able to enjoy within a 45 min drive away and still have plenty of time to return in the evening to spend cooking dinner and relaxing in the new hot tub! We were surprised (pleasantly) once again at the amount of amenities included at the cabin - especially in the kitchen. You simply cannot get much better than this place. We definitely plan to return in the future. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!
