About owner/property manager
We've lived and worked in downtown Toronto for most of our lives. Our kids go to school in the neighbourhood and keep us pretty busy when we're not working our regular day jobs in marketing. We personally manage our short-term rentals because we really like doing it. Plus it's convenient as our suites are just around the corner from our actual home.

Why owner/property manager chose Palmerston - Little Italy
Our properties are all in older homes in the established neighbourhood of Little Italy in downtown Toronto. We've updated all of our suites to make them as modern and comfortable as possible while still keeping the charm of a century home.
What makes this House unique
We love the neighbourhood for a lot of reasons. So much is in walking distance. You don't need to a car, unless you're going to Niagara Falls or any other day trips out of town. Everything else is a short cab ride away. And public transit is also nearby and convenient.

Great location and good size for the whole family (plus grandparents!)
Overall I am so glad I found this place to rent while in Toronto for our mini family reunion. It was a great size for a family of 4 + grandparents & an aunt :) The renovated space was lovely, and we enjoyed our morning coffee at the dining table everyday while the kids played hide & seek. We have family in downtown Toronto, so this location was perfect to walk to see relatives! We walked almost everywhere, enjoying Kensington Market (only a 15ish min walk...if you have children with little legs, this may be a longer walk), different restaurants and even going to a yoga class one day! We still rented a car because we planned to go to Niagra Falls/other out of town excursions, and Arthur was extremely helpful with the parking permit (so appreciated!). When we return to Toronto for another family trip, I would definitely book this place again.
Perfect location - just right for our two families!
The house was wonderfully located in Little Italy. A short walk to the subway on Bloor, and to shops and restaurants on both Bloor, Harbord, College and Spadina. The house is renovated, fairly spacious and clean, and was perfect for two families with small kids (With this caveat: the four kids on this trip were cousins and were all happy and content to sleep together in the large basement, some on a bed and some on the floor. There's a sofa bed in the living room if kids don't want to share a room). Nice kitchen and dining area, so for those who don't want to eat out every meal, there are good facilities for home cooking. We really felt at home at this place and enjoyed our stay here.
Adorable place in a great location
Place was clean and exactly as described. Instructions in the unit covered everything we needed to know. Close to public transportation and short walk to interesting neighborhoods with shops and restaurants. The only improvement we can think of would be a small love seat by the front window. We loved the heated floors in the bathrooms
Thanks for the great review!
It was okay.
I liked this place but it was not ready for us. We had 7 people in our group and we had to ask for more towels, sheets and blankets. My son slept the first night without blankets and did not have a good sleep. The air conditioning was on too high and the owners control it. My husband and I froze in the basement. We did eventually have them turn it off and the last night we were there, we were comfortable. It is a great place and were able to find parking spaces either right outside the house or nearby. Aside from the air conditioning this is a nice place to stay.
Thanks for the feedback.
We do our best to prepare for our guests and any extra guests.
New cleaning staff forgot to put in extra bedding even though they were instructed to do so.
The weather in Toronto this summer has been so up and down it has been extremely hard to get the house at a comfortable temperature.
We do control the AC/Heat for the simple reason that it's easier for us to manage it to make it as efficient as possible and we don't want to waste energy.
Comfortable home in a convenient location
This three bed house was very handy. On the bus route and subway station just a block away. Easy walk to restaurants and grocery store. Owner was easy to contact and quick to respond to any questions.
Comfortable, clean, modern, good location, and organized hosts
This has been our best rental yet! We were impressed with the timely communication of the hosts. They have thought through everything a guest might need to have or know and communicated that from the start. Often rentals aren't as clean or nice as they look in pictures but this one was. It was spacious, comfortable and offered a respite after busy days exploring Toronto. Our only recommendation would be to add another window covering to the front window so a person can comfortably close off the view from the street at night. Thank you so much for letting us rent your place.
Thanks so much for the great review and the suggestion as to how we can make our apartment even better. Come back anytime! Cheers!
