Centrally located in the quiet, laid-back town of Forestville, in the Russian River Valley of Sonoma County, The Carriage House offers style, luxury, comfort, privacy, and amenities in the heart of wine county’s most desirable area–renowned for premium wine tasting, dining and recreational activities along the Russian River.

Your hosts are dedicated to supplying a beautiful environment and a memorable vacation experience.

THE SPACE
Situated on a 2-acre olive farm, the architecturally designed 640 sq-ft contemporary guesthouse is built of old growth redwood, cedar and Douglas fir and features a living room with soaring wood ceilings, stone gas fireplace, wet bar w/ mini refrigerator/freezer, micro/convection/toaster oven & Nespresso Coffee maker, master bedroom and luxurious bathroom — all designed for privacy and relaxation. A large 200 sq. ft. covered deck runs the length of the guesthouse creates another living area with views of the pool, gardens, olive grove and treetops of the forests beyond.

Every type of modern luxury has been thought of including, free WiFi, heating and air conditioning, gas fireplace, a 55" 4K Smart TV with integrated surround sound which allows guests to log into and view their personal TV Apps.

The extensive grounds feature a beautiful swimming pool (pool is shared with owners) and sun decks, extensive gardens, and a number of lounging areas for relaxation.

Location is everything and the guesthouse offers world-class wineries, top restaurants, biking, kayaking, golfing, shopping and spa within a few minutes drive. 30 minutes to the coast, 20 minutes to Healdsburg, Sonoma County airport, Sebastopol & Guerneville.

GUEST ACCESS
Guests are free to explore the gardens and pool area around the Carriage House, and the Olive Grove on the hill which features a pergola covered lounging area with views of the property.

Please note the pool is available to registered guests from the hours of 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and is shared with owners. We try to give our guests private use of the pool during available hours when possible.

Beautiful Property
A lovely place and very well appointed. Owners are absolutely fantastic. Look forward to visiting again when we are not working and can take more advantage of this gem of an oasis.

Phenomenal property with amenities, location and beauty to match! Well stocked with great communication from the owners made this stay extra special for our anniversary. The gardens were beautiful and the quiet location was peaceful. Will definitely come back!

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. Perfect place for romantic getaways for couples. Location is great, we explored surrounding areas and had some amazing meals. The property is so well done and has such a relaxing vibe. If we were looking to getaway again close to home would choose this place always above staying at a hotel. Super friendly and communicative hosts that treated us with champagne and breakfast goodies! Added bonus are their adorable dogs that live on the property. Hope to return in the future!

An Unforgettable Wine Country Stay
We spent a relaxing nine days in this beautiful accommodation. Not only were the accommodations pristine, it was beautifully decorated with interesting furnishings and art. The carriage house is set back from the main house, so it is not only private, but it has a massive private deck to take in the property’s beautiful setting, that includes an olive tree grove, a stunningly beautiful pool, with 4 or 5 separate areas to lounge, dine or converse. Mark and Rob, the hosts, have not only created a beautiful wine country oasis, they were personable and helpful in every way. You will love this place!

Inspired by the beauty of Sonoma County, Mark & Rob have planted out their two acres of heaven with ornamental and vegetable gardens, hidden walk ways, fruit orchards, olive groves and open meadows to delight the eye and stimulate the senses. Ollie the Weimaraner overlooks the farm and enjoys greeting visitors and running through the olive grove.
