Why Heather Ford chose Picton

We bought this house because we were looking for a weekend get away from our busy lives in Toronto. When we saw it's million dollar view we could see ourselves relaxing on the deck with a glass of wine.

What makes this house unique

We've fallen in love with the County and all there is to do and see. My husband is a fidgety guy so the cottage's proximity to downtown coffee shops and restaurants and the potential for daily excursions to wineries, beaches and other small towns makes the location perfect for us.

Two week stay at Cozy Cottage

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cozy Cottage.

The location was perfect for relaxing, enjoying the scenery and a walk into the town of Picton.

Everything was perfect in the cottage, cleanliness, supplies ete.

We would definitely book again.

Our only comment against the cottage. The stairs are steep and being in our late eighties found them difficult.

Thank you for a great two week holiday.

Jean and Dave.

  • 5 of 5

The cozy cottage was perfect for my 3 week stay. On a quiet street over looking the Picton Harbour. Just the right size for me and my 2 doggies. When i arrived it was clean and there was a list of suggested things to see and do. Very simple cottage with an equipped kitchen and BBQ. I so enjoyed my holiday in PEC. I felt this location was centrally located for all the things that I wanted to do. Would return!!! Thanks Heather and Mike!!

Serene Surroundings in Picton

Our family of four had a great time at this cozy cottage. It's situated on a very quiet street. We really enjoyed sitting outside, reading and watching the boats pass by. Owner also left us useful info on things to do in the area (wine tasting, shopping, dining). Suggestions were excellent! House was clean and equipped with everything we needed to have a relaxing vacation.

Great place for a quiet, peaceful get away. Close to restaurants and shops but loads of privacy. The view of the river was spectacular. Can't wait to go back. Pet friendly.

Our Stay at Cozy Cottage, Summer 2016

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed at Cozy Cottage on a number of occasions and always enjoyed our experience there. Cozy Cottage is the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of the big city without having to give up any of the amenities of a civilized life. Situated in the middle of Picton, you are only a short walk away from great restaurants, movie theatre and espresso bars for that all important morning capacino. That's assuming of course you can drag yourself away from one of the most lovely views in the County. Overlooking Picton harbour, it's all too easy to while away your time dreamlike counting the clouds and boats passing by sipping a glass of County wine or eating dinner prepared with local produce on the deck right outside your door.

If you get ambitious, a short drive in almost any direction takes you into a countryside of bucolic farmland, the best beaches in Ontario and, of course, many vineyards for wine tasting (choosing a designated driver is advised).

Cozy Cottage itself is well equipped, clean, comfortable and filled with small touches that make it seem more like a home than a vacation rental. It is situated on a very quiet street so light sleepers rejoice. Finally, the owners are extremely accommodating and respectful of your privacy.

Prince Edward County is a great holiday destination. Cozy Cottage will make your visit even more memorable and we highly recommend it.
