Great Apartment & Location

If you are visiting Montréal and have a car, this apartment and neighborhood are ideal. It is located in the charming, French district of the city, with a fully stocked market within walking distance. It is easy to drive to various points of interest, while returning to a comfortable, home environment at the end of the day. The apartment is clean, spacious and contemporary. It has two large bedrooms with nice linens and a huge walk-in closet. The kitchen is phenomenal. The

bathroom is large with double sinks, large walk-in shower, soaking tub, plus a washer/dryer. It is the top floor of a row house with sun tunnels which make it bright. It is definitely a high end apartment. Can easily accommodate up to six with plenty of space for all. Would recommend this property for travellers to Montréal for either work or pleasure.

Fantastic!

We loved the apartment. Clean cozy and in a great neighborhood. Walk out the door to wonderful shops, cafes and restaurants. We got patries for breakfast and came back upbeat them on the little front porch.

Highly recommend the place. Will definitely come back.

Loved the apartment and the neighborhood

All the reviews previously posted were spot on - this is a great neighborhood, and a beautiful apartment. We loved our stay. This is a great neighborhood for families with kids, as the park nearby is so cute and there's a pool and baseball field there as well. The steps getting into the apartment are very steep, and wasn't a huge issue for us, as our kids are older, but having a knee issue right now, it wasn't the best thing for me. If I was by myself I would never have been able to lift my luggage up those steps. The owner was very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this apartment and I'd honestly consider staying in it again. We absolutely fell in love with Montreal.

Perfect home-away-home

My two friends and I really enjoyed our stay at the Maveric. It was everything as advertised. It smelled clean as soon as we walked in. (With that note- we really didn't mind the cleaning service fee because we knew it had been thoroughly cleaned before us too- and it was!). The kitchen was fully equipped and the fridge was spotless. They even had extra items in case you forgot (agave, sugar, spices etc). The stairs ARE definitely steep but I knew this from other reviews and we are in our 30's, in good shape, so it wasn't a big deal. I would have been worried if I brought my two little kids, but if that was the case I would simply carrying my one year old up the stairs. Bring a lock for a stroller and keep it outside! The bathroom was awesome for the three of us ladies, with two sinks and large mirror. Tub and shower were spotless and the beds were comfy. The WiFi is definitely spotty to say the least- it really only worked for us in the kitchen and dining room and had difficulty connecting. This wasn't a deal breaker for me as we were on vacation, but it would be appreciated if it was corrected. The one little issue we did have with the front door lock, one quick call to the landlord who was more than helpful and available immediately. They made us feel like we were a friend calling and not a nuisance.

We parked on the street for free (just be sure to be parking in the right spot- immediately outside the apartment a permit is needed but just a couple metres back there is free parking), and left our car there the whole weekend.

Location: Half a block from apartment is Laurier street which had three amazing coffee shops right on the corner, a market Saturday morning, few cue children shops, and a Mexican restaurant, Agave, which had a massive 45 dollar margarita that filled our three glasses almost four times!

We walked a few blocks down to Rue Mont-Royal, which is a busy street where we did some shopping and had dinner one night. On the saturday we hailed a cab. It was a 15-20 dollar cab ride to Old Montreal and the Centre Bell (where we went for a concert). We MUCH preferred the location of this apartment as opposed to being downtown. We preferred returning to a quiet, beautiful neighbourhood with quaint and quirky restaurants within walking distance.

I looked and looked at hotels, other VRBOs for hours upon hours before finally finding this gem. When I return to Montreal there is no doubt I would stay here again.

Great stay for a family vacation

The apartment was everything it was advertised. Great neighborhood with stores, shops and restaurants within walking distance. Metro station and beautiful park within a ten minute walk. The apartment was very comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen. Great place to return after a full day trekking around Montreal. Highly recommended. We enjoyed our stay.

Really cute place!

We had a girls trip there. The place is very cute and comfortable. Location wise was great, near the coffee shops and local stores. Not too far from Downtown. The only thing that I would suggest is that the wifi was extremely slow. The stairs were very steep so definitely be careful! Overall great experience and would definitely stay again! Btw, the owner Eric is very responsive to emails and text messages. =)
