Settled in 1680 around a deep-water harbor, Bristol features many historic sites (Blithewold Mansion, Herreshoff Marine Museum, Linden Place), a charming town center and a variety of first-class restaurant choices. Bristol is an easy trip from Boston and NYC, and a short 45-minute drive from the Providence airport.
