About this property

Stunningly beautiful luxury home on 200 feet of Green Lake Wisconsin shoreline.

Deer Path is a stunningly beautiful eight bedroom, eight bathroom luxury home situated amidst mature trees and an open play lawn on 2.3 acres with 250 feet of level Green Lake Wisconsin shoreline.

Totally renovated in 2020-21, the house features beautifully-appointed large living areas on two floors with many tables for dining and games; high-speed internet through the house, an expansive deck; two gourmet kitchens appointed with high-end appliances, dishes, serving pieces and food preparation items; designed-for-cleanliness and comfort king-sized and twin bedrooms each with its own distinctive bathroom with heated floor (7 of 8 ensuite); a dining table which seats the full 16-person capacity of the house; Sonos sound system; large-screen television with Apple TV; an expansive outdoor deck offering beautiful views of the lake.

Deer Path sits among two acres of mature oak and maple trees and also has a large open flat area perfect for volleyball, badminton, croquet, bocce ball, or playing catch. A small sandy beach is great for children and adults.

Deer Path now has a new, modern dock, and available for rent for an additional charge, a Bulmann boat lift which supports a v-hull, pontoon or tritoon boat.

Green Lake, seven miles long and two miles wide, is the deepest lake in Wisconsin, less crowded than many other lakes, and a great lake for watersports, fishing, and swimming. Green Lake fishermen often troll in Malcolm Bay, where we are located. We are able to catch fish from our docks.

Five minutes from the house is the Lawsonia Golf Course, named in 2008 as the best public course in Wisconsin. The original Links Course has open fairways, edged by native grasses, and large elevated greens. The Woodland Course meanders through the woods, with some lovely views of the lake.

Bikers will enjoy the quiet roads of the Green Lake Conference Center, within which Deer Path is situated, or the bike path along Route 23 into the town of Green Lake. The Mascoutin Valley State Trail connects the towns of Berlin and Ripon and provides scenic, safe, rail-to-trail biking.

The Green Lake Festival of Music brings world class music and film to multiple venues in the area. Ripon College offers interesting speakers, events, and sports facilities. If you want to swim for exercise, try the open water of the lake, or lap swimming times of the Berlin Aquatic Center or the Ripon College fitness facility.

In winter from the house we are able to cross-country ski, skate, and sled.

We love the many activities that are easily available when we are at Deer Path. A typical summer day might include a workout, golf, a bike ride, swimming in the lake, perhaps skiing or tubing, and then also reading on the deck or by the lake, games, lots of eating, a bonfire and songs in the evening. Our parents and grandparents built the house in 1981 and we renovated it in 2020-21 for these purposes and we are pleased to share it with others with the hope that you also will create memories and deepened relationship with your family and friends.

Beautiful, everything listed and more!
Beautiful, everything well thought out, kitchen cupboards labeled and well organized, each room and each floor extremely quiet from others. Would return in a heartbeat!!! (Cleaning staff just need to address some spider webs in some of the rooms.) But certainly a five STAR house and lovely owner who was just the BEST host I have ever had the pleasure of meeting!!!

Great house
Beautiful large house, perfectly laid out for multi-family visit. So many amenities. Our party had a great time. Aside from the beach and water, the kids had a blast with their scooters in the large circular driveway. Kitchen has everything you need to make big meals. Edie was great to work with. We will definitely be back.

Great Location
Our group had an amazing time at Deerpath for our annual golf trip. The amenities were top notch and Edie provided detailed directions prior to arriving. The location was perfect in proximity to the course and our group loved everything about this property. We can’t wait to return.

Fantastic House and Location
My six siblings and I plus five spouses/friends stayed for 3 days at Deer Path and had a fantastic time. The house is wonderful with the amount of space and separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Plenty of room --- in fact, the description and pictures probably "undersell" the actual space. The spacious backyard and lakefront property was a big plus, as we spent the better part of one day pontooning and were able to dock right at the house. The Green Lake area also offers some excellent hiking and nature exploration opportunities nearby. For golfers, Lawsonia Golf Course is next door -- it's a great course. We really enjoyed our time together and give Deer Path a very high rating!

Beautiful and Roomy Lakefront Property
The Deerpath home and property are beautiful! We felt relaxed the moment we walked in. The kitchen is large and well laid out. And since almost all the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, this worked out great for all the adult couples in our group. The heated bathroom floors were nice & the downstairs area was just as nice as the upstairs. Also, the handicap ramp to the front door is a nice feature and blends right in with the exterior. Very easy lake living!!! Thanks to our great host, Edie! And a special shout out for all the labeling in the cabinets & drawers—made it very easy to put things away!

Our extended family has come together for vacations for almost 60 years. We built Deer Path in 1981, to insure that we could continue this tradition. Now we have a fifth generation who cherish the time we have together, just as we did at the beginning. We decided to renew our home in 2020 to ensure that it would be ready for the next 40 years. We are happy to share our home with our guests and are delighted when we learn how many of you experience it as do we: a very special place.

Why they chose this property

What makes this property unique

Deer Path is located on the grounds of the Green Lake Conference Center, an 1100 acre facility for year round conferences. The house is in a private setting, but close to the facilities, including the 36 hole award winning Golf Courses of Lawsonia
