The Scenic Getaway

This remodeled vacation home provides a secluded getaway without the distractions of normal day activities. This house overlooks the upper Cheyenne Valley with 360 degrees of rolling hills, meadows and nature. There is plenty of opportunities to enjoy wildlife and tranquility at its finest. This home is the perfect couple's getaway as well as family retreat! After taking in the surroundings, this home is the perfect place to end your day with time in the sauna.

The South-Central Wisconsin area provides many individual and family activities. This vacation home is nearby the WildCat Mountain State Park and Kickapoo Reserve where hiking, cross country skiing, sight seeing, and touring are available. Families can enjoy the nature and tranquility of this location while relaxing and spending quiet and quality time together.

This house is a "sister house" to Shady Pine's Retreat (888509) which is located 3 miles away. This makes it perfect for large groups or multi-family vacations.

This house has central air conditioning and kitchen has dishwasher.

Activities and entertainment to fit just about everyone:

BIKERS: There are miles of country back roads plus the Sparta-Elroy bike trails.

CANOE: The Kickapoo river runs through the Wildcat Mountain State Park and the Kickapoo Reserve providing some of the most scenic riverways in the area.

SNOWMOBILE: A short ride on a private trail connects to the State trails near Mt. Tabor. Once on the trails, you have unlimited route options and destinations. Southwest Wisconsin has terrific trails and the most beautiful winter scenery in the state.

FISHING: Two great trout streams--Cheyenne and Billings. Habitat restoration on miles of trout steam completed years ago. Holes of native Brooks, Rainbows, and Brown trout. A fisherman's delight!

HUNTING: Thousands of acres of the Kickapoo Reserve is open to the public for hunting. Turkey and whitetail deer hunting is outstanding. Wildlife is abundant including pheasant and small game.

Arrivals and Check-out- Guest may arrive at any time during the days they have booked. Before arrival, guests should call/text owner for the key location. Each guest will be sent a map along with a contract to be signed by renters. Please do no rely on GPS to get to this location! Guests are to leave by noon on their last booked day and return the key to where it was found.

Beautiful Vacation Rental
This property is so beautiful - the house and the location. We have rented this vacation rental for several times. And hope to keep returning. Once you rent this place you will want to return. A nice place to get away from it all. Especially during this difficult times.

Not only was the property a hidden gem, but Cedrick was the most thoughtful and helpful host. We had an amazing 4th birthday party in such a cozy place, the family reunion was a success!
