Wonderful place

  • 5 of 5

Great, cozy, clean place! Has everything you need. Perfect for our trip to Yellowstone! Owner had thoughtfully created a beautiful place to stay. I've stayed in several home but this one and all the little details you forget when packing along with info on places to see in the park. The outdoor setting was great for my kids. They loved the patio and fireplace for telling scary stories in the evening. We really enjoyed our stay!

We stayed here with our 5 kids for a week. The house was perfect with room for everyone. We absolutely loved sitting by the river in the evening enjoying the beautiful view and had some elk in the yard in the morning! Very close to Yellowstone. We all had a great experience and hope to return someday.

Great location and nice extras!

  • 5 of 5

My family of five enjoyed staying at Sandy's rental home. Everything was set up well for those wanting a place to come back from a day at Yellowstone Park to rest and cook dinner. The yard and sitting area right next to Yellowstone river is a bonus and a relaxing place to hang out! Sleeping space was comfortable and spacious for my family. The amenities and extra supplies were well thought out and available. It is a quick trip down the road to Gardiner and the North Gate entrance to the park. Thanks for providing a great place to stay!

Nice house in a beautiful location

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay here! We had 8 people in our party (4 adults, 4 kids ages 1 - 10) and while we were a little bit squished, it wasn't bad. We enjoyed meals together and the living room had enough room for us all to gather. And the backyard! Such a beautiful view of the river! The location was great for our needs. Just a 5 minute drive from the north entrance of the park. Our host was very kind and generous and even met us at the door when we arrived to welcome us.

Just one thing to be aware of, the house doesn't have A/C at all, so if you stay during the summer months, open your windows early and keep them open all night if possible! The house does get pretty warm.

Owner's Response: Dear Guest, I'm so sorry I didn't realize that the house was getting to hot, I have two brand new portable ac's in the garage. We did actually put them in the house today. I wish I would of know, again I'm so sorry. Thank you for leaving the house so clean when you left it was great.

Perfect Yellowstone Basecamp

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed staying at this house with the Yellowstone River in the backyard. My daughters particularly enjoyed waking up in the morning to deer and elk in the yard. The house had ample room and amenities for our five day stay. Everything was clean and we will be back.

My home is located 3 miles from the entrance into Yellowstone Park and Gardiner Montana. The house with a huge back yard sits on the banks of Yellowstone river. This home is far enough out of town so you hear no noise at night but close enough if you need to run in to enjoy some day and night life. We offer out door seating in a covered gazebo with a rock fire place, and deck over the river bank, to enjoy the scenery, sounds of the river and just the tranquil feeling you will get. In Gardiner there are lots of Gift shops, grocery store, Bars and different kinds of restaurants.

Other Activities: Yellowstone National Park is in your back yard. There is wild river rafting and fishing on the Yellowstone River, Horseback riding along with dinners up in the mountains. Yellowstone National Park offers lots of site seeing, museums, and history of the area.

Golf: There is golfing in Livingstone Montana, 53 miles from the house. Also Bozeman Montana has a golf course which is about 80 miles from the house.

Ski: In the winter time Yellowstone Park has some of the best cross country skiing around. Not only awsome scenry but the animal life you will see. You also have down hill skiing in Bozeman Montana about 80 miles away and both cross country and down hill skiing in Big Sky Montana about 130 miles away.
