Perfect NYC apartment
We could not have enjoyed this NYC apartment more - ideal location, clean and comfortable apartment and spacious with all the amenities one would need for a business or holiday trip. Even with a hot summer heatwave, the air conditioning worked great and was a welcome respite after a long day of work and sightseeing. The Murphy bed was comfortable, the Wifi worked perfectly and the cable tv offered all the channels one would ever need. I’ve rented many apartments in NYC and this one is my favorite! Great hosts, too!
Museum Lovers Take Note!
This little apartment sparkles! And the location couldn't be better! It is just a few block to Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. If you are coming from out of town to visit the Met this is the place for you!
The apartment is in a great location, very close to the Metropolitan Museum and Central Park. It is an old building, but the apt. itself was very comfortable. I liked the Murphy bed! We had a little confusion about the front door lock, when I first arrived, but the following day, the Super came and showed me what to do to lock the door. Pati made a big effort to make sure all was well. It was! I would definitely stay there again. One funny quirk: the elevator is a bit creaky and slow, but it worked just fine otherwise.
At home in NYC.
Well placed, clean, comfortable.
Perfect location to see the Upper East Side. Museums, Central Park, shopping and restaurants all within walking distance. Clean unit with accommodating amenities. Owners very friendly and helpful. Will be saving this property for future trips as we visit NYC often!
Spring in NYC
The apartment is in an ideal location. Three blocks in one direction to the Met and Central Park; three blocks in the other to the restaurants along 2nd and 3rd Avenues. There is a great bagel place on the corner steps away, and a variety of groceries and take-out within a block or two. A Lexington Avenue subway stop is a three minute walk away, and only a little further a 2nd Avenue subway stop with direct service to the Broadway/Times Square area. The apartment is large by NYC standards and the Murphy bed was no problem. There was room to leave it down, so it just became another place to sit during the day. The kitchen and bathroom are both small but functional, and overall the place was clean and comfortable. While the building seemed very safe, the common areas are pretty tired (including an older elevator that is on its last legs) and could use updating.
