Cozy and convenient
The property was well set up for guests. Fully stocked kitchen in terms of tools and appliances (except the toaster was not functioning very well), and whisk-broom clean. The location was close to the beautiful public access beach and not much climbing up or down to get to it which we really liked. The outside porch railings on the property were a little rickety, and should be secured for safety reasons. We found the bedrooms and living room to be very comfortable and well-appointed, and plumbing in both bathrooms functioned well (plenty of hot water for showers, etc.) Our other suggestion for an enhanced stay would be to replace the small kitchen stools with ones that have backs to them and cushions on the seats so guests can spend more time comfortably visiting and dining around the kitchen table. Communication with the property manager and onsite instructions on a tablet device was excellent! We'd consider coming back again.

Beachside getaway
After a very busy summer we needed a quick getaway with a beach side feel…and we definitely got what we were looking for! Very cozy cottage steps away from Lake Michigan with downtown shops and restaurants within walking distance. Looking forward to booking again next summer!
