Cozy cottage with short distance to hiking trails and the center of Sjusjøen. From this cottage most things are within walking distance. It is not far to the store and restaurant, and you will also find the hiking trails right outside the door. Right next to the house you will find the starting point for the tour around Lake Sjusjø, which can be circumnavigated with a stroller, wheelchair and bicycle. The tour is about 8 kilometers long, and there are several places to sit down and enjoy a picnic. We also recommend trips to Mostefjell and Snørvillen. From the cabin you can cycle further into the mountains, for example along Birkebeiner track. If you want a long bike ride, you can ride along this route to Rena. It is then about 92 kilometers. For shorter tours, you can just go to Sjusjøen, via Nordseter and maybe further to Lillehammer. There are many possibilities. If you want to fish, it is also not far to the nearest fishing lake. Kroksjøen is only a short distance from the house. By car you can drive a little further inland and fish at the Åsta river. This is quite an amazing natural landscape that is worth a trip. Lillehammer is only a 30-minute drive from Sjusjøen and you can find activities for young and old: Hunderfossen Family Park, Jorekstad, Maihaugen or the Olympic Museum.
