"Interesting" experience.
Not sure where to start. Let's start with 4 days before arriving when I sent a message on Vrbo asking if there are towels included. In the description was nothing mentioned about linens and towels. There was no reply.
The Check in time in the booking was specified that can be done after 4pm.
Now let's see what happens on Check in. I arrived at the property. The hotel has Reception but it was closed, the surrounding looked like was deserted and road was under construction.
I called Interhome which was specified as property management company. When I called I was asked to look into Travel documents. During the call I checked the emails including spam, found them there sent 4 days before my arrival. The booking was done one month and week prior the arrival.
I called the key holder around 9pm. I was informed that I have to pay for late check in as check in is between 4-6pm plus £%€ for linen and towels for 3 persons. I was very surprised and frustrated. Also had do pay deposit, I knew that, so I said is no problem.
The keyholder came and said I have to raise the complaint with Interhome before handing any money.
The lady that came with the keys was very rude in understanding the situation. She just gave us a bag with linen and towels so we had to put the linens ourselves. I asked where the bike storage is, she did not wanted to tell us.
Interhome insisted that we have to pay all the amount and the immediately updated the details on Vrbo.
Vrbo asked to remove numbers.
