Scharbeutz and surroundings:
Happy people stroll along the long, wide Baltic Sea promenade, enjoy an ice cream here, snack on a few fresh crepes, stroll along chic shop windows.

A few meters further, the sparkling clean sea rushes to the fine sandy beach, seagulls sail around, small boats and large yachts are cruising on the water, a white sea-going ship is mooring. In the south of the Bay of Lübeck, in the immediate vicinity of Timmendorfer Strand, lies the casual and lively Scharbeutz. Here you can experience the modern Baltic Sea lifestyle and a very relaxed "everything can, nothing must" philosophy. The new Scharbeutzer Dune Mile offers a lot of flair and of course a direct view of the Baltic Sea everywhere. It spoils with beautiful architecture, the beach-side gastronomy and boutiques invite you to shop and feast.
