Nestled in the forest on a 4-acre property, the 550 sq. ft. studio suite provides complete living accommodation, with a queen size bed and a sofa-bed that makes into a queen size bed. It has a fully equipped kitchen, wireless Internet and cable television and sleeps 4 persons. The Studio Suite has a deck with a propane BBQ and patio furniture. Our guests have privacy and the sense of freedom to enjoy the area in their own personal way.

The magnificent natural location provides an ideal setting for outdoor living whether you want to relax, meditate, paint, or just watch the changing moods and colors of the mountains and lake. A paradise for bird watchers and photographers, the area is rich in wildlife with osprey, eagles, a variety of waterfowl, woodpeckers and deer.

Serenity Views is located just 5 minutes from the Village of Nakusp with all amenities. From our property, take a beautiful 15 minute drive up a paved mountain highway to Nakusp Hot Springs or drive to Halycon Hot Springs, just 20 minutes away. Wherever you go, the scenery is magnificent and people are friendly.

In summer, enjoy wonderful hiking, boating, fishing, golf and swimming. The beautiful sandy public beach is only 5 minutes away. From here enjoy a stroll down the promenade along the lake, just a block from shopping and restaurants. There is also a public boat launch and docks if you bring your power boat.

Guests of Serenity Views can rent our canoe, single person kayaks or paddleboat to further enjoy the beautiful lake.

In the winter, enjoy snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross-country, downhill, and heli-skiing followed by a soak in the Hot Springs, or just come for the health benefits of enjoying the Hot Springs along with the peaceful and friendly atmosphere.

Fishing in the Arrow Lakes is great in all seasons - winter fishing is spectacular!

For the more active traveler, we encourage exploration of the many facilities and activities around Nakusp and the surrounding communities such as golfing, water sports, hiking, back country exploring, museums, historic sites and unique shopping and restaurants.

For those who wish a tranquil experience, Serenity Views offers secluded and quiet locations to relax, meditate, and find renewal. Enjoy the pleasant walks on private forested land or lakeshore, the beautiful scenery, fantastic views and nature in all its glory.

For the artisan we provide a quiet and serene environment. You are encouraged to use the property for inspiration with several areas designated for application of your work.

We also have a camping cabin on our property. If the Studio Suite is not available and you would like a 'rustic' holiday experience, please contact us for more details.

A beautiful space that has everything to relax!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay! It was quiet and located in a beautiful spot! You are in between 2 hotsprings and not far from town. The kitchen was well equipped! Our little dog had a great stay too! We enjoyed the walk along the lake in town and a xc ski by summit lake!

The host are great!

Owner's Response: Thanks for your comments, Mark. It was a pleasure meeting you both, as well as your sweet little pooch! That was great that you were able to x-country ski as well as go to the hot springs during your stay. Now that you have seen the property in the winter, we invite you to come during the summer and enjoy the lake!

Wonderful gem!

  • 5 of 5

This lovely suite was a gem! It was the perfect pet-friendly place for us to stay in for the weekend. There was a wonderful little patio where we had a BBQ, just like home but with better views! It was so close to Nakusp, the Nakusp hot springs and Halcyon hot springs. We were able to relax and unwind after busy days and enjoy quiet time together. When we couldn't find anything to watch on TV there were DVDs to watch. It was nice being able to enjoy such a beautiful suite!!

It is a perfect location with plenty of places to walk, throw sticks for your dog to fetch, or just to sit and enjoy the peace and quietness and the amazing views. Thanks for choosing Serenity Views for your Nakusp visit. We look forward to your return!

Marilyn & Brian are great hosts

  • 5 of 5

The studio suite is wonderful. It is decorated nicely, with everything you could need for an extended stay. Marilyn was very helpful in getting us settled, and then you barely knew they were there. We made some great memories swimming in the lake and skipping stones at a private beach. Nakusp is a nice village to visit, and the hiking nearby is beautiful. We will be back!

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review, George. It was a pleasure meeting you and your family for your Canadian vacation! We are pleased that your family enjoyed the pathways through the forest down to the lake, as well as our quiet beach. We called our property "Serenity Views" as this was the most suitable name. You were able to experience the serene atmosphere, with no neighbours nearby and very little boat traffic. The views were somewhat obscured with the haze from the BC fires, but hopefully you will return and enjoy the magnificent views we have of the surrounding mountains. Best wishes, Brian and Marilyn

This was this second time we stayed at Serenity Views in the Studio Suite and we'll definitely be back. The location is great for visiting hot springs, riding the rail trail to Summit Lake and just relaxing. Marilyn & Brian are lovely hosts.
