House, 5 Bedrooms 3 Baths with Gallery style Art walk (Can sleep 18)

And welcome to your home away from home... a true getaway. Located in Squamish BC , Squamish BC V8B 0C2) – the outdoor recreational capital of Canada.

I have added another bedroom and bath to the home. This house has 3 bedrooms upstairs with the kitchen attached to the living room; a great open concept living space. As well, there is a large living room downstairs that can double as a fourth and fifth bedroom as the large space is separated by sliding doors. each room has its own entrance and access to the downstairs bathroom. As well there is a gas fireplace in the downstairs living space. The downstairs bathroom is kinda awesome. great shower and nice and bright with heated floors and a balinese petrified wood sink sitting on an impressive fir slab. It is maybe one of my favorite showers.

The entire upstairs living area and bedrooms are finished with beautiful fir flooring except the bathrooms - the main bath is cork flooring and there is heated slate in the en suite.

Our main bath is warm and inviting with slate accents and an wood slab vanity. The tub is ready for soaking and has air jets to help you relax after a strenuous day out playing in the mountains. The master bedroom has its own wonderful en suite that has heated floors, slated shower with a seat so you can sit and enjoy the rain shower that falls from above. Dimmer lighst also a nice feature.

The other two bedrooms upstairs are also good sized and tastefully decorated each with ample closet space.

The kitchen is all butcher block with a classic country feel with all the needed amenities. And feel free to use the BBQ, slow cooker or the rice cooker for your favorite meals. Lots of pots and pans and a blende – everything you need to enjoy the spacious kitchen space. And while doing dishes is for the dishwasher provided, the sink is attractive enough to inspire at least one by hand washing. As u wish!

The living space upstairs is an open concept with the fir floors and the artfully stoned fireplace taking center stage. The mantel piece is another piece of old growth wood and adds to the fireplaces allure. Cozy in and enjoy! Lots of wood is available to keep you cozy and warm. Also a guitar for the musically inclined.

Outside, look across the street onto green space and beyond – feeling the power of the chief – the world’s second largest granite monolithic rock – starring at u through the trees. Across the street and around the corner there are wooded paths that will allow you to enjoy a morning walk that will lead you to rivers and streams. There is also a neighborhood playground for kids with swing ropes for your more adventurous youths. And if you have a four-legged friend that wants to share in the mountains... by all means… feel free. While we don’t have a dog or any animals here we are open to well behaved pets and can help you with local dog sitters and walkers if need be.

If you like the idea of exploring the mountains by bike, there are numerous logging roads and for the more adventurous - an endless supply of world-class single track to keep you fit and engaged. And of course rock climbing just 10 mintues walk from our front door to smoke bluffs park and 5 minutes drive to the Chief parking lot.

More of a green thumb? Feel free to enjoy our in season organic garden that will offer you fresh vegetables such as cherry tomatoes, cucumber, bell peppers and even some wild blackberries. For those visiting in September - get ready to enjoy the sweet tasting apples off our organic apple tree or the fruits from our black plumb tree.

We are very close to the site of the new world class Sea to Sky Gondola and very excited to have that so close for our guests and their families.

For those looking to enjoy Whistler’s world-class resort we are 40 minutes to the Creek Side Gondola. As well, for backcountry enthusiasts we are very close to some great terrain. And of course… ‘sled necks’ - feel free.
