Thyholm is connected to the mainland in the northwest corner and to the south by a bridge over Oddesund. To Hvidbjerg it is 10 km, the place is located in the middle of the island, here are several restaurants and good shopping facilities. At the same time it is not far to larger cities such as Holstebro and Struer, which are known as two of the best trading towns in West Jutland.
