NOTICE TO OUR VALUED GUESTS: As of April 1, 2018 in compliance with the City of Vancouver’s new short term rental restrictions, we have moved to a 30 day minimum rental period. Bookings are not restricted to calendar months, so long as you have a continuous stay for 30 days or more.

This lovely and private garden suite is located in a beautiful fully-renovated heritage home in a friendly and vibrant neighborhood. It is attractively furnished and is comfortable and spacious. The suite has a private entrance, a large kitchen, and a beautiful garden patio. We've RECENTLY UPGRADED the shower to a walk-in shower, and replaced our kitchen floor. Convenient central location with easy access to all the amenities, you are a two minute walk along our quiet tree-lined street to the best part of fabulous Commercial Drive, with shops, groceries, restaurants, live music/entertainment, recreational facilities and the greatest selection of coffee shops anywhere! And by the way, Vancouver is a top micro-brewery destination, and many fine micro breweries are in our area.

By car you are just a 8 minute drive to the city center and a 30 minute drive to any location in the city, from the beaches of Kitsilano, to the mountains of the North Shore, to the BC ferry portal to the Gulf Islands and Victoria. We are very close to public transit: buses are a block away, Skytrain (rapid transit) is a 12 minute walk. Many guests opt to go car free as travelling around the city is super easy, but if you have a car, we have a large off street parking space just for you.

We love living in this beautiful 1910 heritage home in a prime heritage area of Vancouver, and sharing the Commercial Drive area with visitors from all over the world. Vancouver is indeed a visitors paradise and we enjoy the great variety of people who come and explore its many hidden gems.

Commercial Drive is one of the trendiest areas in Vancouver and a fabulous place to visit. The house is on a quiet street 1 1/2 blocks from the best cafes, restaurants, live music clubs and bars, shops, produce and health food stores. There are fitness facilities, banks, groceries, transit, and a liquor store all within minutes from home.

What makes this apartment unique

Our house is over 100 years old. She celebrated her 100th birthday in 2010. Over the last several years she has had major renovations to every sector of the home, including the suite. The suite is a new installation including both kitchen and bathroom and has not been rented prior to this listing on VRBO. The entire house, including the suite, has retained its heritage charm and combines the best of modern and heritage living.

Aren't there more stars to show how great Graveley Suite is!?

Staying for three weeks in this suite was the best part of my time in Vancouver. The place is simply impeccable. It is lovely, charming, cozy and of extreme comfort, and my days there will be forever remembered. I had a memorable stay there and it for sure contributed (immensely) for me to keep the peace of mind I needed to stay focused on my hours (and hours and hours) of study. Susan and Leslie are just the best "landladies" you can ask for: constantly concerned about your stay, gentle and sweet. If I could, I would give a whole constellation of stars to evaluate the Graveley Suite!

Quiet apartment near a lively neighborhood

The apartment (called a suite) is spacious and quiet on a tree lined block of well cared for houses. There are parks and playgrounds near by as welll as lively Commercial Dr.. The apartment itself is well supplied and intelligently set up for convenience. There are two slight negatives: the 3 small windows don’t admit much light and the view is of the wall of the neighboring house a narrow path away. Plentiful lighting in the apartment makes it bright. The bedroom area is a continuation of the living area separated by a screen that admits light and sound. Altogether the apartment met our needs well and we would stay there again.

Susan and Leslie have a really comfortable suite, it has everything you need for a few days or a longer stay, great location to access the sky train and buses to easily get around the city. I would recommend renting from Susan and Leslie for your trip to Vancouver

A real home from home.

A spacious and very comfortable garden suite. It comes fully equipped allowing self catering. The location is near to the vibrant Commercial Drive will plenty of shops and restaurants. The property has its own secure access and is on one level.

A 15 minute walk away is the skytrain and bus routes giving easy access to the whole city. We didn't have a car in Vancouver and used public transport every day. We even got to Grouse Mountain and back for only $10 each . We have been very comfortable and relaxed here and would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Vancouver

The hosts, Susan and Leslie are around if you need anything and are a good source of local knowledge.
