Our 'Beautiful Waterfront Getaway' as we like to call it, is our own home away from home. We expect our guests to care for it as if it were their own.

We are a ground floor 2 bedroom fully equipped suite in Inn of the Sea, a townhouse complex with one building right on the water and two buildings behind. Half of the units are ground floor and the other half on the third floor. All units have their second bedrooms on the second floor. There is a lodge with private accommodation by the pool.

It is important to be in the waterfront building if you want beautiful unobstructed views of the Ocean and all that goes on there such as birds, otters, seals occasional Killer Whales, etc.

In the summer, you will enjoy the beautiful heated outdoor pool and hot tub. The beach is great for exploring all year round.

There are a variety of nature parks in the area which provide for all levels of hiking.

We rent by the week only in the summer months of July and August, Saturday to Saturday and rent a minimum of 2 nights at other times through out the year. Our rates vary by the season.

Seclusion, peace and a touch of heaven!

This 2BR/2BA 2 floor condo is right on the beautiful shores of Stuart Channel. The owners have made this a “home from home” vacation experience. The unit is well equipped with everything you need from fully equipment kitchen and all the linens and towels you need. The living room has a fireplace and new HD TV. The lower patio and 2nd floor balcony off the upper bedroom affords unbelievable bay views. The complex has a heated pool and spa, private dock, waterside grill areas, tennis court and volleyball/badminton field. The owners of this unit have a canoe that is available for use during your stay. Dennis called us the first night we arrived to make sure we had settled in and made several excellent suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants.

If you are looking for that perfect location away from those typical noisy and overpopulated vacation spots, then Inn of the Sea is the perfect destination.

Very nice location and right on the water.

We spent 11 days at Inn of the Sea. Unfortunately the weather was not the best however we enjoyed our stay. The complex was full during our last weekend and there was noise from running or walking hard in neighboring rooms. Overall the stay was quite nice and we would not hesitate to return. Dennis was very accommodating and helpful. We would recommend this property to others.

Owner's Response: Hello Doug Sorry about the poor weather. That's Juneuary as it's just never know. Starting Friday, it's forecast to be sunny and warm for well into next week. Great magic quiet place.

The ocean view did not disappoint

The ocean access is great, always something to see. The upper unit has a squeaky floor, which became an issue for the light sleepers. The washer/dryer is not located in the unit but in a separate building (loonies required). Unit was clean and tidy upon arrival.

Inn of the Sea Review

It is a great condo on the water with a fantastic view! There is lots of room with 2 couches and 2 lounge chairs, with a big screen TV and computer. We especially enjoyed taking out the canoe for a few hours. We also saw 4 or 5 sea otters playing on the end of the boat launch. The condo is centrally located near Nanaimo so you can explore the island in several directions. We would definitely go there again!
