About the property

Our 'Beautiful Waterfront Getaway' as we like to call it, is our own home away from home. We expect our guests to care for it as if it were their own.

We are a ground floor 2 bedroom fully equipped suite in Inn of the Sea, a townhouse complex with one building right on the water and two buildings behind. Half of the units are ground floor and the other half on the third floor. All units have their second bedrooms on the second floor. There is a lodge with private accommodation by the pool.

It is important to be in the waterfront building if you want beautiful unobstructed views of the Ocean and all that goes on there such as birds, otters, seals occasional Killer Whales, etc.

In the summer, you will enjoy the beautiful heated outdoor pool and hot tub. The beach is great for exploring all year round.

There are a variety of nature parks in the area which provide for all levels of hiking.

We rent by the week only in the summer months of July and August, Saturday to Saturday and rent a minimum of 2 nights at other times through out the year. Our rates vary by the season.

The ocean view did not disappoint

The ocean access is great, always something to see. The upper unit has a squeaky floor, which became an issue for the light sleepers. The washer/dryer is not located in the unit but in a separate building (loonies required). Unit was clean and tidy upon arrival.

Inn of the Sea Review

It is a great condo on the water with a fantastic view! There is lots of room with 2 couches and 2 lounge chairs, with a big screen TV and computer. We especially enjoyed taking out the canoe for a few hours. We also saw 4 or 5 sea otters playing on the end of the boat launch. The condo is centrally located near Nanaimo so you can explore the island in several directions. We would definitely go there again!

MY WIFE AND I STAYED FOR THREE NIGHTS AND IT WAS EXCELLENT GREAT BED. SLEPT LIKE A BABY AND EVERYTHING ABOUT THE CONDO WAS FIRST CLASS INCLUDING THE OWNERS. WE SPOKE TO DENNIS A NUMBER OF TIMES AND HE COULDNT HAVE BEEN MORE HELPFUL. THE VIEWS, THE SCENERY AND PROXIMITY TO RESTAURANTS WAS HANDY. DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN AND WE ARE ALREADY MAKING PLANS. Modern Condo in VERY quiet Rural B.C. Setting: HEAVENLY !

My wife and have been at this Condo Inn before and liked it. It says a great deal that we came back for a longer three months this trip! The unit we stayed in this trip was 109. This unit can be expanded to include unit 209 to sleep more people (talk with the owner). Inn of the Sea is not too too far of the Trans Canada Highway and very close to Nanaimo Airport by car. Set on the ocean you look out every day at wild ducks and sea birds swimming just off the dock. The sea there is usually very calm and pleasant to look out over. Even in January there is the occasional sailboat or power cruiser going by. The Inn is built between the 100 ft. high cedar trees and the Inn is modern and well run with pleasing quiet grounds with wild small deer and rabbit running through the forest nearby and on the lawns. This condo has good bedding and comfortable chairs, a modern kitchen which is well equipped.The condo (and most condos) has a fireplace for Winter nights , which by Canadian standards is very very mild. Big screen TV, Desk top Computer, and Telephones let's you stay in contact with the rest of the world- if you wish. All year you can use the hot tub and April thru Sept. the generous in ground pool is heated. The complex has about 20-24 units and if you want to bring your power boat there is a floating dock (Make arrangements with owners before boating!) We hope to return !! (And soon)!!
