A great stay in Escalante!
This was our second stay at La Luz.. The home is a gem, in terms of comfort, amenities, location, fabulous views, architectural style, and helpful hosts. We could not be more pleased.

Beautiful Home and Great Location
La Luz was the perfect place for our family visit to the Grand Staircase Escalante region. The home had a beautiful view and Rick and Sandy were gracious hosts. If you stay here and want to know about where to hike in this area, spend a few minutes with them! This was a great location to allow us to visit not only the Grand Staircase but Bryce and Capitol Reef. Five days was not nearly enough to even begin to explore this area. Very comfortable home, great views for sipping coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. Comfy beds, too! Close to yet on the edge of town so it was quiet and peaceful.

Lovely Escalante Location
La Luz was the perfect location as a base for our time exploring the Grand Staircase. The hosts are very responsive, and full of great information. The location is ideal, close to the town of Escalante, but located away from the main drag. Lovely view from the patio for your morning coffee, and the night sky is amazing!
