The Magnanerie (340m2) in Brouzet lès Quissac has been fully renovated and offers luxurious comfort with 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, a 90m2 living room as well as an 80m2 dinning-kitchen area. On cold days, the fireplace will provide for warmth. The house underwent a full energetic renovation in 2023 (more details further down in the text).

The uniqueness of this historical property is its amazing setting and the view on the mediterranen countryside. The 8.5 acres generous park guarantees your privacy. The 12 x 6 meters pool is set below the 150m2 large Terrasse and will provide for relaxing.

The house is located at the border of the small Village Brouzet les Quissac, surrounded by vineyards. For wine lovers: the well known Appellation Pic Saint Loup is located only few kilometers away. Exquisite organic wines are also cultivated directly in Brouzet. A Degustation at the neighbour's vineyard is only 5 minutes on foot.

The house is located 17km north of the beautiful town of Sommières (and its famous market). Montpellier and its beaches are 45km away. The historical cities of Nimes, Arles and Uzes can be reached within 30-50 minutes.
Fans of nature will be delighted to visit the Camargue (beach, horses and flamingos) or the nearby Cevennes (climbing, hiking, rafting). Even closer than that: beautiful signalized hiking & biking trails strolling though vineyards and the guarrigue start right in front of the Magnanerie.

The closest supermarket / bakery / pharmacy are about 6 km away.

The house underwent energy renovation in 2023:
- two heat pumps replace the old oil heating system
- The roof has been newly insulated
- All windows and doors have been renewed
- 32 photovoltaic panels have been installed and produce electricity for the house
- Air conditioning has been installed in 5 of the 6 bedrooms
-Moskito nets have been installed on the windows of all bedrooms

The house has high speed internet (inside the house, not outside!)

Marseille airport can be reached within 1,5 hours, Montpellier airport within 45 minutes.

Sehr schönes, altes Steinhaus mit Pool
In diesem wunderschönen Steinhaus können mehrere Personen mit oder ohne Kinder eine tolle Zeit verbringen. Dank der imensen Dimensionen von Grundstück und Haus findet jeder auch seinen eigenen Rückzugsort. Das Highlight ist natürlich der große Pool mit viel Platz und ausreichend Liegen für alle. Hier haben wir die meiste Zeit mit unseren Kindern verbracht. Es sind Kleinigkeiten, die verbessert werden könnten, fehlende oder zu wenig Küchenutensilien, die Toilttenbürsten sollten mal ausgewechselt werden. Es gab sehr viele Mücken und Fliegen (keine Wespen) Hier könnte vielleicht Insektenschutz vor den Schlafzimmerfenstern helfen. Diese Kleinigkeiten stören jedoch nicht das hervorragende Gesamtbild.

Semaine de vacances optimale
Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable à la magnanerie! La maison est fantastique nous avons pu profiter de la piscine toute la semaine tout en visitant les alentours et marchés locaux. Nous recommandons un séjour là-bas à 100%!

Magnifique demeure au milieu de la garrigue
Nous avons passé un très bon moment familial dans cette ancienne magnanerie très bien rénovée. Cette belle demeure dispose de tout l'equipement necessaire pour une famille nombreuse. Grande piscine avec belle vue sur la garrigue. Petit bémol pour les moustiques assez nombreux, il y en aurait peut être moins si le bassin en contrebas était vidé de son eau. Sinon tout était parfait !

Simply Amazing
The house is beautiful, the views are splendid and the welcome was warm and inviting. I cannot say enough good things, we simply loved the place, well equipped kitchen, excellent pool (big and deep), steps up and down to the pool area are quite steep but kept us a bit active at least! The local town markets of Quissac (Weds) and Sommières (Sat) were excellent. We didn’t do many other activities due to pandemic, but the house and pool were enough. The girls loved feeding carrots to the neighbour’s horse and everyone wanted to stay longer. Gorgeous.

Absolut genial!
Wir haben eben als Gruppe von 6 befreundeten Paaren 2 fantastische Wochen in La Magnanérie verbracht. Es hat von A bis Z alles gestimmt. Vor den Ferien war Céline sehr hilfsbereit und hat auf sämtliche Fragen schnell geantwortet. Die erste Führung durch das grosszügige Haus und die riesige Parkanlage durch Jean-François war kompetent und herzlich. Er wohnt in der Nähe und war für Fragen und Hilfeleistungen wenn nötig schnell erreichbar. Auch für eine grosse Gruppe hat es im Haus und der gepflegten Aussenanlage mehr als genug Platz, um zusammen zu sein, aber auch um alleine oder zu zweit Ruhe zu finden. Die Schlafzimmer und Bäder haben eine gute Grösse. Die Küche ist bestens eingerichtet, um für grosse Gruppen kochen zu können. Der Tisch auf der gedeckten Terrasse war so gross, dass wir die Mahlzeiten alle gemeinsam einnehmen konnten, ohne uns eingeengt zu fühlen. Wir waren bei der grossen Hitze dankbar, dass es zwei Kühlschränke hat, so gab es immer genügend kühle Getränke für alle. Die verschiedenen Aufenthaltsbereiche im Haus waren allesamt sehr gemütlich. Die Aussicht von den vielen Plätzen beim Haus, beim Pool und natürlich vom riesigen, zweigeschossigen Wohnzimmer im ersten Stock war umwerfend schön, Natur pur, kein anderes Haus zu sehen. Der Pool ist wunderschön gelegen, mit schattigen Plätzen und wurde regelmässig gereinigt. Alles in allem können wir das Haus für Ferien in einer grossen Gruppe vorbehaltlos empfehlen.
