400 year old country estate in Tuscany, in the heart of Chianti, in Gaiole in Chianti. Absolutely quiet location surrounded by extensive private lands, with private two-kilometer access road (not recommended for sports cars). Lovingly restored with all modern comforts. Generously arranged area with a large main house and two outbuildings. On a hill in an absolutely secluded location with extensive views (40 km) in the width of the Chianti. Well maintained lawns with berths in the shade of ancient oaks, cypresses and olive trees. Patio with pergola and barbecue. 4 separate apartments, two in the main house, one each in the outbuildings. Separate large kitchen-dining room. The Pool-apartment has air conditioning. Large pool (15x7 m) with sun terrace and view of the landscape. The property includes 55 hectares of olive trees, oaks and chestnuts.
Crovoli located in the heart of Chianti and the intersection of the cultural highlights of Florence, Siena and Arezzo.
If you are looking for untouched nature and absolute tranquility, Crovoli is the ideal place for you.

Charming estate in unique location
We stayed six adults and one baby for two great weeks at "Crovoli". The houses are charming, yet functional. Separate "shared kitchen" makes it easy to prepare dinner for all. The garden and pool nice and well-kept. As the region suffered from extreme drought this summer, we were unable to benefit from barbecue and (what seemed to be a) pizza oven. The location is unique and very quiet placed in the Tuscan nature. Perfect if you want quite and privacy. If you want to go on trips every day, you might find the location inconvenient. For us, it was perfect. we heard a car passing by 1-3 times a day on the one-stringed gravel road, with the steep, hilly sides that are characteristic for this region. We had easy, friendly and forthcoming communication with both Ernst, the owner, and Pietro, who is the daily keeper of the estate. Pietro does not speak English, but Google translate and handwaving will take you all the way. We recommend Crovoli to all with the same priorities as us.

Toller Urlaub auf Crovoli
Das Anwesen ist nicht so einfach zu erreichen, aber die Lage und Aussicht entschädigt für den mühsamen Waldweg(2km). Der wahrscheinlich auch durch das vorangehende Unwetter etwas ausgewaschen war. Crovoli hat eine totale Alleinlage. Das wollten wir auch so. Das Anwesen und die Wohnungen haben uns super gefallen. Der Pool war super groß (18m lang). Pierro (Hausmeister) hat den jeden 2ten Tag gereinigt. Er hat auch sonst alles super geregelt. Mit Google Übersetzer war auch die Verständigung kein Problem. Wir haben immer im Freien Frühstücken und Essen können. Durch die Höhe waren auch die Temperaturen etwas angenehmer als im Tal. Wir haben in den Betten gut geschlafen. Kleiner Tipp: Nachts die Tür im Schlafzimmer der Pool-Cabanna geschlossen halten. Wir hatten Besuch von einer Fledermaus :-). Insgesamt ein Toller Urlaub .

Ideale per chi ama un luogo tranquillo e isolato, lontano da tutto
Proprietà molto ben curata, in posizione splendida, isolata e lontano dalle zone abitate, raggiungibile con una strada sterrata di quasi due km abbastanza impegnativa. I casolari sono ben ristrutturati, tutto funziona bene anche grazie al signor Piero, sempre disponibile in caso di bisogno. Perfetto per chi cerca un’oasi di pace e di silenzio. Dei casolari, alcuni sono un po’ scuri (si tratta di vecchie stalle ristrutturate molto bene ma con i limiti per quanto riguarda la luce) , ad esempio quello che ospita la cucina in comune. Piscina molto bella e pulita, giardino curato, incantevole al tramonto. Bello!

à 15 minutes du premier magasin , absolument rien d'alimentaire sur place à l'arrivée ,même pas de sel ou de poivre, comme s'il s'agissait d'une location de longue durée .ou part ce qui est laissé ? .télévision dans la cuisine . Wi-Fi dans un seul bâtiment . il suffirait de peu pour que ce soit parfait comme ma précédente location avec homelidays
