The private master suite features a king-sized bed, plus a cozy living area of its own. Other rooms feature a queen-sized bed, twin beds, and double beds. A short walk from this hidden treasure is historic Dunnellon, where you’ll find antique shops and fun local restaurants. Rainbow Springs State Park is an 8 minute drive from our home or swim in the crystal clear water at the local beach park less than 5 minutes away. We have 2 single & 2 tandem kayaks for you to enjoy right off of our dock so you can explore the beautiful nature that surrounds us on the Withlacoochee River. Excellent!!
We had a wonderfully relaxing and super fun 3 day weekend visit and felt completely at home. Lisa was gracious and lovely - meeting us at the house to welcome us with just baked brownies. We went tubing and kayaking at Rainbow Springs and also spent time at the house to paddle board, fish, play board games on awesome screened porch, and make s’mores in the fire pit. We can’t wait to come back!

Heaven on Swamp
An amazing place nestled within a more quiet part of the River. The house was great, with paddle boat, kayaks, amazing porch deck and fishing off the dock. Kayaked to hidden lagoons , great wildlife and beautiful sunset all at your back porch. Couldn’t have been any better. Loved the house. Great memories. Thanks Lisa for a warm welcome.

Great property great location.
Beautiful location. Very well set up house. Kitchen had everything that was needed and more. Just a super great place to get away from it all and relax with virtually no outside noise except for the frogs a croaking and the owls a hooting. And if you're worried about the sun blaring down on while on the decks. The decks are in the shade for a long time during the day. We had a great time. You will also.

Enjoyed our Staff retreat in Dunnellon!
We stayed 3 nights at this house in Dunnellon and it was exactly what we needed! The house and the town were the perfect getaway from busy Orlando. Spent our mornings out on the spacious deck listening to the amazing sounds of nature. Saw many many gators, big and small! Took the kayaks out several times. Rented a pontoon at Anglers and swam around in the Rainbow Spring. But the house was a perfect home base. Lisa the owner cares deeply about her property and more specifically your stay, your comfort, and your enjoyment. We've done the typical VRBO communities...where every house is the same, vacationers in every house, and everything is brand new - and that's fine...but this is the homey, small town and perfect house on the river that we really wanted. We'll be back.

Relax on our huge deck on the river to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Fish from our dock to catch big mouth bass. We have 3 single & 2 tandem kayaks for you to explore all the nature that surrounds us. Our home is nestled in amongst 52 acres of woods yet the grocery, local restaurants, Rainbow Springs State Park, Juliette Falls Golf, and antique shops are all less than 10 minutes away. Once you arrive at our home you would never know that civilization is close by. This is the perfect escape from our busy lives in the city.

What makes this property unique

The home is spacious and comfortable. Our favorite spot is our huge screened-in porch overlooking the Withlacoochee River as we play at our pool table. The deck creates a covered boat slip. Enjoy making smores with your family and friends at our fire pit area.
