I have lived in this area many years and love the peaceful surroundings. This property was originally built for my father who pasted away before he had a chance to enjoy it. The many compliments we have received from friends and family members is what encouraged us to make it a vacation destination. We hope you feel the same way about Tucson as we do after a relaxing stay!
Steve & Susan purchased this house in 2009
If you desire relaxation with beautiful mountain, sunrise and sunset views before or after your Tucson excursions, this is the place for you!
While spending time at this perfect retreat, watch for desert wildlife, take a relaxing stroll, grill at the outside kitchen and enjoy dinner by the patio fireplace, or play a few rounds of golf at nearby Starr Pass, El Rio or Silverbell Courses. Silverbell Golf Course is within walking distance!

The rental was beautifully decorated, spacious and well equipped, light filled and airy. Very clean, well maintained, and up-to-date. The views were superb from the enormous deck, inviting al fresco dining. From this location, one could choose from nearby trailheads for superb hikes. Far enough from the bustle to really appreciate the natural surroundings. Access to the downtown was easy on the lesser traveled roads. Very comfortable with a true southwestern feel, and all the amenities.

Steve and Susan were wonderful hosts and they did everything within their control to make our stay a joy. Having access to a garage was an added benefit. One cannot overstate the value of the rental location in traveling to Oro Valley, Green Valley and even northeast Tucson (for golfers this was of immense value).
Loved the stay. Beautiful views in a quiet golf course community and close to several amenities. Management team waS flexible and accommodating.
There were 4 of us staying at the rental and we were more than satisfied. The place is spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. It is not walking distance to any sites or stores, this was no problem for us because we were not looking for a downtown location. It was peaceful and the full moon rising over the Catalina Mts. was spectacular. Can't wait to go back.
Steve and Susan are great hosts. The house was perfect for our needs. Close to restaurants and grocery stores, and to attractions that we wanted to visit. Would like to visit again.
This was our second stay at Boyer and we thoroughly enjoyed it. A lovely, spacious guest apartment, a well-appointed kitchen and 'Oh, that bed'. The hosts, Steve and Susan, strike a perfect balance between accommodation and respect for guest's privacy. We've rented several homes during the Gem Shows and this property is a definite favorite. Lovely views and did I mention that bed? Perfect. Thanks, guys. Bill & Liz
Steve and Susan couldn't have been nicer hosts. They accommodated our late arrival, and welcomed us with a great bottle of wine! The apartment had a wonderful covered patio with comfy furnishings, perfect for late afternoon glass of wine and relaxation The unit was spacious and felt like home. The views of sunrise and sunsets from surrounding mountains were beautiful and we even saw a pack of wolves(?) and jackrabbits in the desert brush surrounding the property.
Our only issue was probably more of a VRBO issue - when we booked, the map showing location was incorrect, so we ended a bit further away than we expected. That being said, getting to downtown, hiking , supermarket and other activities was not inconvenient.
Located on the West side of I-10 off Silverbell Road between Grant Road and Sweetwater Drive.
Note: Map was removed from VRBO as site used was not accurate. We are minutes from downtown, I-10, I-19 and many Tucson sites and activities.
