About this property

Escape from the hustle and bustle

Nestled amongst the aspen trees just a 1/4 mile from Powderhorn Ski Resort you will find the perfect cabin for your vacation.

Sleeping a total of 12 possible guests, you will find the comfort of a fully equipped kitchen, hot tub to relax in after a day of skiing or hiking, and a steam shower to take your worries away.

The master bedroom (King Bed) has a jetted bathtub to relax in. Attached to the master is the loft with a futon, it has its own private vanity and sink.

The main level bedroom (Queen Bed) is the most peaceful room in the house with the steam shower in the attached bathroom.

In the basement is where you will find two bedrooms (Queen Bed and 2 sets of Bunk Beds). We have turned the garage into a game room with pool table and foos ball.

The living room, dining room and kitchen is all open to each other so you can enjoy everybody's company. The dining room table will seat 8 guests and the bar in the kitchen will seat an additional 4 guests.

The little town of Mesa is 8 miles down the hill. There is a little 'mom and pop' grocery store stocked with some of the necessities that you might need.

Only 30-45 minutes from Grand Junction Airport and local shopping.
We are surrounded by great fishing lakes. Vega Reservoir is an hour away, but all the Grand Mesa lakes are only about 15 mins from the cabin.

Family Get together
Location was awesome for a ski weekend to get the family all together. The space was open and allowed individual families (3 generations) to be spread out. The stock supplies and appliances that are there were way above my expectations. Everything went smoothly from checkin to checkout! we would definitely return! Thank you!!

Privacy and beauty
This gorgeous log home makes you feel like you are the only house on the mesa. I loved all the bathrooms. There was way more sleeping spots here than we needed. Loved the pool table game room to entertain ourselves when Powderhorn/Mesa has no services. Minutes from the ski area it was convenient. The oven was locked (had been through the cleaning cycle?) but still had food bits in it. Grill outside was dirty. The hot tub was hot but needed some water. There was only a few bottles of hand soap, no other shampoo or bars of soap in the entire place. Maybe I didn’t read that correctly but Im glad I brought dry shampoo. Honestly, all the parts that weren’t perfect didn’t really matter because our stay and trip was so awesome. This house and our stay there was incredible!

Ski trip
Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay!!! Lots of space in the house, and the location and views were amazing! We all really enjoyed the hot tub and how close it was to the ski hill! We would love to come back to this place in the summer and future stays.

Great Ski Weekend Stay
What an amazing property -- it was much more than what we expected. Beautiful views, great sleeping areas, and space enough for all of us to eat together. Perfect! I highly recommend this property for skiing and probably for any time of the year.

My husband and I bought this home a few months before we got married and have enjoyed taking friends and family to it to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
We were living in Silt, which is about an hour from Powderhorn, but my husband was lucky enough to get into the Colorado School of Mines to study Petroleum Engineering. So we have relocated to Littleton while he attends school.
I am a stay at home mom to our son Parker and also work for the Colorado Broadcasters Association. I enjoy photography and coaching volleyball.

Why they chose this property

We love the seclusion of our home, you can sit out on our deck and see the wild animals, sit in our hot tub at night and watch the shooting stars.

What makes this property unique

If you love to relax, you will love our large jetted tub and our steam shower.
