"Ca'n Barrio is a two-storey country house situated near the village of Pollença and only 3 km from the beach of Puerto Pollença.

The exteriors are characterised by a large 10m x 5m swimming pool surrounded by a large garden area where you can enjoy sunbathing. There are also sunbeds for all guests, as well as two sunshades.

The finca with its 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms is perfect for large groups of up to 12 people. The ground floor has a large living room, a kitchen with direct access to the pool terrace, 1 bathroom and 1 bedroom.

Upstairs you will find another 5 bedrooms, 2 of them with private bathroom and access to the terrace, from which you can enjoy wonderful panoramic views of the Tramuntana mountains. The finca has air conditioning and satellite television. Spend a few relaxing days in a Mallorcan finca just a few minutes' drive from the town and the nearest beach.

Quiet location close to the rustic village of Pollença and 5 km from Puerto de Pollença, known for its long boat promenade where you will find restaurants, leisure shops, supermarkets... and the large white sandy beach of Pollença.

Large property with excellent pool in perfect location
The property is situated in an excellent location close to the port and the old town of Pollenca. We hired a car as we had kids staying with us but you could get away with hiring bikes alone. The pool was clean and cleaned regularly during our stay. There were plenty of sun beds and shady spots around the pool. We had a problem with a leaking pipe but it was sorted very quickly - More kitchen utensils needed (sharp knives, pots, pans, cutlery and glasses) - The downstairs room smells a little damp - Although we spent most of our time outside, in the evenings when we wanted to be inside to get away from the mosquitoes there wasn't enough soft furniture for everyone

Lovely break
Had a lovely stay at the finca. A few bits could do with modernising (but then it would be more expensive). Had a couple of problems with no hot water or no water at all, but they were dealt with swiftly by the owners. Nice and cool with plenty of space and rooms and cots. Great location for exploring Pollensa and Muro and more. Can walk/run to the nearest beach in 15mins.

Fantastic Villa, just what we needed - but there are a few quirks!
We were looking for a Villa in the Pollenca area for 2 families with 7 kids. This was just the job, there was loads of space, the pool was a good size, it had the all important air conditioning and the bbq area was brilliant. The villa was rustic which was fine (we probably prefer it) but there were a few things to note, the shower leaked which put one of the bathrooms out of use, the response was just that it would be fixed when we return, we hadn’t realised there isn’t a mid stay clean when there for 2 weeks, so had to do a fair bit of washing, the pool went cloudy and it took a few days to get hold of someone to sort it and then for it to be sorted, there were a few bits of broken furniture, it just needed a tidy up, and if using the oven and hob the electric could fuse. None of this overide the overall 4*, and on balance it was a good balance between cost, space and location, but a few tweaks and easier communication with the local agents could easily have made it 5*

Adequate but shoddy in places. Wonderful pool once it had cleared.
The pool was cloudy and full of chlorine when we arrived. It had obviously not been touched until very shortly before we got there. By the time we left after 2 weeks it was perfect. All the outside ‘rattan’ furniture was a very shoddy poor standard. The outside loungers were good quality. It was overall just about adequate. One shower was completely unusable but this was fixed very quickly. The company were easy to deal with and problems we reported addressed quickly. It felt like we were the first booking of the year and nothing had been checked at all before we arrived. A few things fell apart- a toilet seat and plastic bathroom bin for example. But we didn’t bother reporting these at the time.
