Very nice especially view
Maui was hot during our stay BUT cooled dramatically at night. Many cross breezes. Very quiet, ocean view, expansive lawn. Nice bed for sleeping. Wife especially enjoyed coziness very much.
Great starting point for trip to Hana
Our family of four stayed here for one night after arriving so that we could have a head start on our trip to Hana. It was the perfect location for this plan. It was a cute little apartment overlooking a grassy field of cows and the ocean. It was very quiet and peaceful. The accommodations were fine for our family although the kitchen appliances could use some upgrading. We had some trouble with the stove taking a really long time to heat up. But otherwise it was a really nice start to our vacation!
Beautiful and amazing
We loved our week here nice and quiet!!! We were a little concerned about no A/C in the house but yes the breeze was more then enough with the fans. It’s a little bit out of town but not bad at all and the fruit is amazing!!!! We would stay here again if we make it back to Maui !!!
Rainbows and Ocean View
Spent 6 nights at the property. When we were searching for a place to stay in East Maui, we wanted a quiet place to spend our last week away from the busy touristy areas. This was a nice change after staying at a resort in Wailea. A good location in a nice neighbourhood with many nearby tourist destinations. We explored the Road to Hana, Paia, Baldwin Beach, Makawao, Iao Valley to name a few.
The contents of the apartment were not luxurious however everything you need was provided. Clean, functional and comfortable for 2 people. Washer & dryer was just outside the apartment. We’re out during the day and come back by sunset. We cooked dinner several times and ate out on the lanai when the weather permitted. A relaxing spot to enjoy the ocean view and rainbows. We didn’t get a chance to meet the owners but did talk to Max on the phone on our arrival day. We briefly met Regina (spelling?) when she was getting the place ready for us. Thank you for the welcoming fruit basket we found set on the table. The grounds were well kept and we walked around the orchard one morning.
Because the property was beside the street, traffic can be heard especially at night when everything was so quiet. Closing the lanai’s sliding door helped to muffled the sound. One thing that we noticed about the apartment was how easily sound transferred between walls. We saw the daily geckos inside and on the lanai everyday. They are not dangerous and won’t bother you. We read a review of gecko droppings all over the place...we didn’t see any. We have enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property - a piece of paradise on the unspoiled part of the island.
