The detached house stands quite isolated in the mountains of the fertile north of Gran Canaria. The 2-hectare property located in the Barranco del Laurel, about 800 meters above sea level, near the village of Fontanales. Located in the nature reserve of Los Tilos de Moya, with beautiful views of the mountains, without neigbhours, the area is a paradise for hiking and nature lovers.

The nearest grocery store and the nearest restaurant is about 3 km. From the house you need to Gran Canaria Airport about 55 km and to the capital Las Palmas 30 km. A beach on the north coast is around 15 km away and to the beautiful dune beaches of Maspalomas in the south of Gran Canaria and is an approximately 75 km away. A rental car is recommended. The last 600 meters to the house run on an unpaved road.

Nette Unterkunft, sehr ruhige Lage
Wir hatten einen schönen und erholsamen Aufenthalt. Die Unterkunft liegt in einem Tal, manchmal hört man die Nachbarn auf den Feldern arbeiten, ist ansonsten aber sehr ungestört.

Mountain escape
A great property just outside the very pretty village of Fontanales. We were met promptly by Ana who was lovely and showed us to the casa. It is accessed by a very steep track so you need a hire car with some power and a confident driver but once there the house is so peaceful. A lovely terrace front and back with great views and we loved using the sun beds and outdoor shower/pool. Jose the property manager was really helpful, great communication and there was a lovely hamper there to greet us on arrival. A great place to stay in Gran Canaria

Viel Potenzial, wenn das Wetter mitgespielt hätte.
Haus und Anlage entsprachen unseren Erwartungen. Elektroheizung war nicht ganz ausreichend. Licht sehr indirekt. Schloss zum Grillplatz defekt. Wer die absolute Ruhe mag kommt hier auf seine Kosten. Leider bei winterlichen Temperaturen im einstelligen Bereich und bei viel Nebel und Wolken. Wanderwege sind auch nicht direkt zu Fuß errechbar. Daher geht ohne gar nichts. Der kleine Lebensmittelladen in der Näche der Kirche hatte alles Notwendige zum Frühstück.
