Welcome to Garden Cozy, a charming and spacious 1200 square foot suite with 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. It is part of a 6800 square feet Victorian home built in 1908 and completely renovated in the late 1980's.

The location is ideal due to its centrality to most everything. Grocery stores, drug stores, banks, restaurants, cafe's, liquor stores, post office, hospitals, all of these and more (like the harbour and the beach) are within a 2 to 20 minute walk. All major bus routes can be caught in 1-2 blocks from the house.

Convenience is important, but beauty of your surroundings plays a major role in the attraction of this suite. St. Charles Street is home to more than its share of old Victorian heritage homes (some of which are B&Bs now) with amazing gardens and huge trees. Just down the street is the Government House with the majesty of its views of the Olympics and the ocean, not to mention the breathtaking gardens that some call 'mini-Butchart'.

'Well appointed' is a term that is commonly used to describe this unit. It has everything from high speed wi-fi to an in suite washer and dryer; and if it doesn't have it and you need it, Liz and Bruce will get it for you. All of this, not forgetting the former heritage garden that wraps all around the house, provides breathtaking photo opportunities to send back home.

Perfect for those wanting to escape the 'tourism' of downtown, yet still close enough to walk to be in the middle of it all. This suite is ideal for the frequent visitor to Victoria and for those who like to live like a local.

PAYMENT An advance payment of 50% of the rental rate is required to reserve the desired dates. The advance payment will be applied toward the room rent. Payments outside of Canada may be made in the form of credit cards (Visa, MasterCard) or bank transfers. Bank money orders, cashier’s cheques or personal cheques are payment options (for Canadians only) payable to Victoria Prime. Cheques must be secured by a credit card authorization while in route. Email transfers (Canadian banks only) can be sent to The advance payment is not a damage deposit. The BALANCE OF RENT is due sixty (60) days before your arrival date. All payments are in CANADIAN DOLLARS. All reservations will be charged a Booking Fee.
CREDIT CARD AGREEMENT Guests must provide credit card details as a guarantee of payment to Victoria Prime. Guests accept all terms and conditions of the rental agreement and accept all liability for rent and charges related to property rental, as well as any damage beyond normal wear and tear during the term of the rental. Guests understand that these costs will be charged to the credit card provided. In the absence of another payment agreement, guests authorize Victoria Prime to charge the credit card provided for payment of these items. The guest whose credit card is on file alone is liable for all payments and damages on a reservation and is fully responsible for the full reservation rent and charges.
CANCELLATIONS A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date will be refunded less a $50 admin fee. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full payment. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent, deposit or cleaning fee. However, if we are able to re-rent the property for the dates cancelled, we will be happy to refund all or any part of that.
