About the property

Condo, Studio, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)

This is a cozy studio located at The Lodge at the Mountain Village which is right at the base of Park City Mountain Resort. This unit sleeps 4 with a queen murphy bed and a pull out sofa bed. The Lodge at Mountain village offers a heated indoor/outdoor pool, hot tubs, a fitness center and underground parking. Also at the base of the mountain you can enjoy ice skating shopping, restaurants, and fun mountain activities of the Resort Center.

This condo is located between Pay Day & First Time chair lifts. Simply walk down the hall, take the elevator down and you are just steps from the ski slope. Ski school and the lift ticket window are also just steps away. The slopes and lifts are less than five minutes from the condo.

As far as transportation goes, the under ground parking is very convenient if you have your own vehicle. If you choose not to rent a vehicle Park City's public transportation is free! There is a main bus stop right at the base. Either way you go Main Street, restaurants and grocery stores are just a few minutes away.

This unit is perfect for a small family or a couple.

Lastly, if you have little ones, there are lots of plan B options right at the base of the mountain. Just in case (heaven forbid) your little angel decides that skiing was the worst idea ever, and you need some hot cocoa or some ice skating! For that matter, there is also a bar should you need a beer...or two!

About Ken and Cassie Beiler

Our family has been vacationing in Park City for years. We love the ski in/out location and pools & hot tubs!

Ken and Cassie Beiler purchased this condo in 2004

Why Ken and Cassie Beiler chose Park City

Ski in/out keeps the fun in our family Park City vacations.

What makes this condo unique

Skiing Utah powder is the best and we think that Park City is the best place to vacation. Our family loves to ski all day and then relax in the hot tub & pool. Later, we gather around the fireplace in our condo and play games and enjoy a family dinner. If we still have energy - we enjoy a movie right at our condo!

Ski In-Ski Out Studio at Park City Mountain Resort

great location; in need of updating

  • 3 of 5

We booked this property for a family get together of adults. It can reasonably only accommodate 2 adults due to the large dining table and bureau.

the property is ski out, and basically ski in. We booked another studio in the same area for 20% more price - and it was much much nicer. Everything was updated allowing floor and storage space to move around.

I would consider this property next year for 2 adults . It would work for a family with 2 small kids.

Ken, the property manager was available and very responsive.

Great location!!!!

Older place but reasonably priced and can’t beat the location. No need to rent a car. Uber to and from the airport. Free shuttle (but tip the driver) or freebuses makes getting around real easy

Great stay!

  • 5 of 5

Two of us stayed for 3 nights. It's a cozy condo that is ideally fit for 2 people. There's a pull out couch and a murphy bed. You probably could fit 3-4 people, but the sleeping area doubles as the dining area and living space. Ken was very receptive to e-mail and text messages and was flexible with check-in and check-outs. We arrived to Park City earlier than expected and Ken allowed us to check in early as our condo was already cleaned and ready for us. Very short walking distance to the chair lift, maybe 100 yds. Dishwasher doesn't work well so I would recommend washing by hand. Easy access to downtown either by walking (15 min) or via free city bus. The bus stops right outside of the condo, which is very convenient. Overall, great stay. Very ideal place to be if you're there for skiing/snowboarding only. This is more of an eat, sleep, snowboard condo. Not ideal if you're looking to stay inside a majority of your trip.

Mixed bag

  • 4 of 5

First the good. The location is unbeatable. Around 300 ft walk to the lifts each morning. The room temperature was very warm and pleasant. Fireplace was nice. Good sized bathroom. Plenty of hot water. Appliances in good working order. The place was clean and came with good quality toilet paper. Not the see thru stuff that some use to save a few pennies. Very convenient to bus route. No need to rent a car. About a 5 minute bus ride from downtown.

Now the not so good. The appliances and decor are dated and in need of a facelift. The place is not large. It was a bit cramped with the two of us when the Murphy bed was down, but it could probably also accommodate a smaller child. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but it wasn't the worst I've slept on either. The condo complex was underwhelming as were the restaurants near it. Lots of ski shops in the complex. You have your choice of at least four.

In summary, I would give it three stars on decor and amenities and five stars on location and value for an average of 4 stars. If price and location are your main considerations, this is your place. If you want a little more luxury and are willing to pay for it, there might be better choices.

This condo is located right at PC Mountain Resort. You are steps away from a hot tub, the ski lift, restaurants, ski rentals places, ice rink, buses, etc. It is a great location because it has a pool, sauna, work out room, locker rooms. You are within walking distance to Main Street and grocery stores. A great pizza place just down the steps from the condo. There is so much to do in the complex that you really do not have to leave to go anywhere else.
