A Beach Front Cottage: Beautiful & Private: Weekly or Monthly.

Beachfront cottage that is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico and the only thing that is between you and your beach front cottage, are sea oats, palm trees and sand dunes. We are a premier and private beach holiday spot. The property is secluded and private and you are assured a hassle free beach front holiday.

The cottage has a full kitchen, living room, sun porch area, two bedrooms - one king, one full bed, one single bed, a pull out sofa and one bathroom.

Our beach front property is over one acre and is located directly on the beach. There are also 3 additional cottages for rent and you can call us for more information.

We are just minutes away from shopping and cultural events in downtown Sarasota. Tampa International Airport is approximately 1 hour to the north. Call us today for your beach front vacation reservation!

Nice place, but....
Our visit didn't start well. We found out that we were in a one bedroom unit, and, only after getting all the final location information, that the one bedroom unit had two twin beds in the only bedroom. Not how the property was described on VRBO at all. When we arrived, we were a little disappointed in the outside condition, but the interior was nice and clean, remember this is an old Florida bungalow, not a modern hotel or condo. We were glad to find two full size beds, not ideal, but we made do. The property grounds are a little unkempt, but the beach and area are very nice. All in all, we would stay again. It's unfortunate that the lead-up to arriving was so stressful.

Old Florida Beach Cottage
What a step back to when we first discovered the Island 30 years ago and lived on it for many years. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The short nature path to the beach through the pine trees was lovely. We were greeted by a beautiful Eagle and watched a dolphin playing in the surf. It’s very peaceful and less crowded. I’d definitely come again and have the rest of my family rent the other 4 cottages.

Wonderful Stay at Cannons Cottages!
Classic old Florida beach bungalow. Everything you need, nothing you don't. And communication with Claire was prompt which made everything easy. Would absolutely stay here again.
