Historic Cottage - Romantic Orangerie in Berum / Hage

The old orangery of 1712 lies in the shadow of the lime trees in a cul de sac on the edge of the southern forest Berum. It consists of two semi-detached houses; one half I inhabit.
Through the ceiling height of the lower floor of about 4 m, as well as through the establishment of a castle character gives you, who caught it were the time. Behind the kitchen there is a utility room with washer and dryer, medicine cabinet, hot water bottle, ironing facilities and access to a terrace outside the kitchen window. Behind the laundry room is still a bathroom with shower and toilet.
All the windows on the lower floor are sliding windows, lie to the south side and are equipped with mosquito windows. The windows are knee high and you sit very comfortable in it. Bedding for this haunts you will find anywhere on the sofas and chairs
Residential, office and kitchen are equipped with wooden floors. The hallway is tiled.
On the upper floor you will find a closet with sheets and towels.

The windows in the bedrooms are equipped with fly screens and a view into the park-like garden and deeper into the woods.
The area around is separated by a moat (graft) from forest and allow you through the tall rhododendrons left and right of the lawn almost uneinsichtiges moving in the garden.
Before the kitchen on the terrace is a large, round wooden table with white iron chairs available, or with four large matching wooden chairs and cushions that are usually distributed at various places in the garden. Hage is a health resort and raises a tourist tax of € 1.80 per day for adults from 15. March to 31st October I'll charge you at the end of any other additional services. The visitor's card offers for the duration of your stay a whole range of advantages and benefits over that informs an information sheet.

Absolut ruhiges Idyll
Die herzliche Begrüßung mit köstlichem Kuchen, das im Landschaftsschutzgebiet liegende Haus mit besonderem Charme und der eingewachsene Garten (inklusive Eichhörnchenbesuch) haben uns den Urlaub sehr verschönert. Angenehm überrascht hat uns die kleine Hausbar mit auch alkoholfreien Getränken. Die Betten sind bequem, und im Haus selbst war es im Spätsommer angenehm kühl. Viele Decken und Kissen sowie Handtücher wurden uns bereitgestellt. Ein ganz herzliches Dankeschön nochmals dafür, dass wir sehr flexibel an- und abreisen konnten. Wir empfehlen dieses historische Quartier uneingeschränkt weiter!

Wunderschöner Urlaub
Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt in der historischen Orangerie in wunderschön ruhiger Lage mit herrlichem Wald um das ganze Anwesen und dennoch guter Anbindung an den Ort mit Geschäften jeglicher Art die auch zu Fuß gut erreichbar sind. Das herzliche Willkommen durch die freundliche Gastgeberin mit selbst gebackenen Kuchen sowie Mineralwasser auf jedem Zimmer hat die lange Anfahrt aus Bayern schnell vergessen lassen. Für den Aufenthalt war alles vorhanden was man braucht, liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr gut ausgestattet und absolut sauber. Wer den Charme historischer Gebäude und die Ruhe schätzt ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Unser Urlaub in der Orangerie in Berum/Hage war einfach fantastisch! Schon vor unserer Ankunft hat Frau Schelten-Peterssen uns mit Prospekten versorgt. Am Ankunftstag durften wir sogar früher kommen, was uns alles extrem erleichtert hat. Es war alles nicht nur sauber und schön sondern auf‘s Liebesvollste vorbereitet: wir haben sogar einen Kuchen bekommen, in jedem Zimmer stand Mineralwasser und Schokolade. Die Küche war super ausgestattet, überall war Toilettenpapier, es gab Videofilme, eine ganz wunderbare Leseecke auf einer Empore - wunderschön und wahrlich nicht selbstverständlich. Die Orangerie ist einfach ein Traum mit einem wunderschönen Garten, der nicht einzusehen ist. Dazu die absolute Ruhe und die unglaublich unkomplizierte, herzliche Vermieterin - wir waren höchst zufrieden und haben eine tolle Zeit verbracht. Ganz herzlichen Dank, Frau Schelten-Peterssen!!
